My kids found "Mean While" on their own at a bookstore near us. They had SO much fun with it. Even their friends couldn't get enough of it. It was great hearing all these kids laughing and having a good time...over a book! You're a rock star in our home, Mr. Shiga.
I remember watching this vid 5 years ago , and it was the best thing I had seen for a long time

Then trying to search it again a few years back and finding it, only to not remember the title of this video.
Day before yesterday, I FINALLY got this video after so many searches. Today, I've started creating this interactive comic.
You have no idea how much this video affected me. I always wanted to make this do making one right now is absolutely insane. I also found out the guy in the video, 'Jason Shiga', is an actual comic book writer. Never knew that lmao but it's so cool.
I'm not even that interested in comics but yours looks really fun so hopefully one day, as I am making one of your ideas right now, I'll be able to buy one of your comics and go through it.

Actually, what kind of choice is this. Left or right. You decide on nithing, just how to turn page, the interaction should be somehow connected to the plot.

Luis Sopelana What? I meant that there is no decision at all.The decision is: what the main character is going to do. For example if you want the main character to say text A, go left, if you want them to say text B, go right. Not just check what will happen if you go left...

how do u make this thing like...longer. A longer story because I need it for mine.
Many you could try making it a 3 by 5 rectangle or something
Jose Guerrero it’s sort of hard to figure out exactly where to cut/fold. I would suggest making a basic one, then taping on more squares how you would like them. You can leave it like that, or unfold it and use it as a stencil
The largest one that I made (with no tape) is 4x5 squares
I read one if ur comics it was kinda confusing to me but I kinda got a handle but ur comics r really creative!
