Back in FIFA 21 I was really invested in this kind of stuff. I actually modded the game and created a club (back then you had to mod and didn’t have the option to create a club) named RB Bucharest in the Romanian League and imposed some limitations such as having to always sell promising young players to any RB club if the offer came in (RB Leipzig always appeared in the transfer menu and it was frustrating) and always selling players before reaching 83-84 OVR. Also could never spend more than 10 million on a player even thought I had lots of money from beeing a feeder club since I imagined in my head that the Red Bull bosses were really greedy

I did a youth academy starting in league 2, but I Googled all the countries that had English as the dominant language and could only use those countries. It was more then i thought, and gave my self the restriction that I couldn't have more then 3 of the same country in the starting line up

Something I saw on reddit was the use of ai chat to generate backstories for youth academy players. Its helped my cm because I get more attached to the players
@@AnselTazeh so pretty much you use Chatgpt which is an ai chatbot which you tell it to generate a backstory. Example I scouted a really good German attacking midfielder so I told the ai to generate a backstory for a talented 17 year old german midfielder who is a great dribbler and passer who looks up to as Ozil. Talk about his family, hobbies, and life outside of football. He grew up in a major German city name that city
I took Carlisle United in League two all the way to the premier league and eventually the Europa champions league, only using scouted players on my roster. It was very fun. I played fifa for 2 months straight trying to get them into the PL.
Doing this with Crewe Alex atm. Season 5 First season in PL with only youth academy. Selling Players too high rated (or If a reasonable Club commes in) is necessary (Release clauses) for the Challenge or you have 90+ Squad at season 3
A really good career mode is becoming manager of the newest MLS team (or if you want a recent one) so for FIFA 23 Charlotte FC, transfer listing every player and creating a brand new squad. This is like simulating being a new MLS club forming an entire new team out of a few mls players, maybe some young players from europe and south america. It really connects you to each player and makes every win feel so earned. (Personally i give myself the 100mil boost and have 3 month youth academy scouts to simulate the draft aswell, and I also use the wage and international player rules of MLS and DPS)
I started one.. Put best European clubs in Argentinaian league and sudamericana ...keep half original clubs... Then started player career mode with MESSI.. Made retire messi and started career mode with Newell Old boys in tough league With restrictions of signing 4 non-south American players and all player will have release clause.. It's quite hard...but it's long term fun
One of my story lines was using Ancelotti’s tactics at Ac Milan, signed players to replicate the line up such as Neymar (Kaka) Vlahovic (Crespo) ect was really fun left for Madrid and brought Neymar and Vlahovic with me
PES guy here, though mine is less random and more intentional, I do this for player career mode in PES. Either to justify a move, or a conversion in position. or a little backstory on to whyy character chooses their kit number. also for master league, since you can change kits, I do that too for if somewhere in the story they find a deal for a new sponsor. something small, but after this video I'm thinking of doing risky randomized lore like selling my best player or something. fun idea
When I played fifa I made a storyline where I primarily sent scouts to South Africa and the objective was to make 1. A 90 rated South African player 2.make the country a 5 star nation 3.win the world Cup (you don't nessarily need to be the manager to complete this objective
I have few ideas for storyline: 1 - Paris Saint Germain using mainly youth academy players to win the Champions League. You are the Paris Saint Germain's new manager. The owner wants to SELL all foreigners, keep the Mbappé brothers and with the money you should invest in the youth academy players. For more fun make the youth academy players' salary much higher than the PSG's captain (Kylian Mbappé) and his brother Ethan. Every season you should PROMOTE as much youth academy players as possible and keep the Mbappé brothers until they retire. And if Kylian Mbappé retires before Ethan Mbappé, give the Kylian Mbappé's brother number 7. 2 - Save your club from a losing trophies curse. Your club has a trophyless curse (for example Benfica with the Bela Gutman's 100 years 0 European club competition trophies curse) and you should win a trophy and if you succeed, you should sign a Bulgarian or Tattooed player (for example - Stanislav Ivanov or Sergio Ramos, Martin Minchev or Bruno Fernandes, etc.). For the ultimate challenge use Benfica, Olympique Lyonnais, Olympique Marseille, Sevilla or Legia Warsaw. 3 - I am mister new face on the pitch. Your club should have at least 2 married footballers, 5 divorced or former international players and the rest should have girlfriends. You CANNOT sign left footed players unless if they are from countries whose national team isn't in the game, have girlfriend, played for Bolton Wanderers, Blackburn Rovers or Sunderland or have a beard. 4 - We are 11. If one of your players join your club's biggest rival or dies, RETIRE the number worn by the player to show him that he doesn't belong to your club anymore if he join your club's biggest rival and respect if he dies. For example you manage Liverpool and Virgil Van Djik joined Everton. After that you promote young English defender or convince Sergio Ramos to join Liverpool (if you have money), but if the youngster or Ramos wears number 4, give him any free to use numbers different than 4 (maybe number 96 for Ramos and number 91 for the youngster you promote to the first team). 5 - Josep Guardiola is sacked! You are the new Manchester City's manager. You should make the most beautiful looking footballer in the club the captain of the club because Manchester City will replace Guardiola with former AF (adult film) actress. In other words you should use a woman as a manager in the manager career mode. 6 - The flop. Not everyone makes successful career in real life but in FIFA we can even do the treble with Nacional Madeira in our first season as a manager. So not only the players became a flop, the managers also may fail. The downfall will start when you accept an offer from strong team in your start country, foreign club or any national team, keep it realistic when you accept an offer from any team during the downfall but simulate at least 1 season with the club which offer you accepted. If you don't want to be the weakest manager as possible, choose when your "Flop" career will end. 7 - National traitor. You are a young promising talent and your dream is to win the Ballon d'Or (that's a player career mode). When you play for your national team, after 1 Euro Cup or World Cup, SIMULATE the rest of your national team's matches and play for a club. But when you're back in the country you played for during the Euro Cup and/or the World Cup, you will get booed by the fans in that country, even if you make your dream come true. 8 - NO to Donnarumma! You manage Italy and you should call Donnarumma the biggest traitor in Italy. The idea is that you should make the match against North Macedonia the last ever match Donnarumma ever played for the Italian national team. :)
A storyline I got is signing players that just got signed to actual clubs in present time and train them to their max potential, it’s been a good amount of months its enjoyable
I always start with a Belgian league team, usually OHL. I only sign free agents until I finish a season where I compete in the Champion's League. When I enter the season after that, then and only then will I be able to buy players. And when I am allowed to buy, I don't buy players in the top 4 leagues. I keep it realistic as I don't think players in Premier League, La Liga, German Bundesliga, and Ligue 1 will not "downgrade" to the Belgian Pro League, even if we have UCL. So all my buys, when I'm allowed, are from other leagues. I also don't net spend more than €35 million per summer window, and €20 million per January, even if I have a tremendous amount of transfer budget. That keeps my club more grounded. And I only have that much IF I'M IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE. If I miss UCL, the budget for the whole season stays at €30 million. I also have to have a profitable year every season as I "need to always upgrade my stadium". The profits I make from tournament wins and selling players will go to updating our grounds. Every year should be profitable. And every year in I'm in the Champion's League, I should finish with at least €15-20 million in profit at minimum. So I gotta keep winning domestic titles, qualify for UCL, spend wisely on players, and sell players for massive fees. TL;DR version, I try to make OHL the Belgian League's version of Ajax. 😅 Lastly, I always make sure that I have at minimum, 6 Belgian players in my starting XI. Gotta prop up the country my club is playing in and develop that home grown talent.
so my storyline in fifa 22 is basically "a man with 100M and a dream", basically i took over Burnley with 100M€ and my goal is to win the Champions-League and the Premier league, the catch is that i have to simulate the match and sign youngsters, thus far it's my third season, i made burnley a top 10 regular, and made 3 big signings in form of Isak, Vlahovič and De Ligt these players costed me the most but i also bought many gems like Cherki
I think a fun one is to do it depending on the team and it’s ambitions, for example I’ve done 2 CM saves so far one with Feyenoord and I made my goals to bring them back to being a feared and respected team in the Dutch league and in Europe and no longer be a farmers club anymore so my goals were to get back to a European final last year they made the final of the conference league vs Roma and this year they’re in the Europa league my next one was to beat Ajax and PSV in the games we played them to try and be the most dominant out of the big 3, the other career mode I did was with FC Zurich where I did research and found out they are last place and fans are unhappy with ownership so I put a huge focus into youth and worked to battle to not finish in the bottom half and my goal was to get 3 players who were originally from my starting squad onto the Swiss national team for the 2026 World Cup these are just some ideas for anybody who wants to try this do some research on the club if you want it to be realistic and try to do things around what the club wants irl
Doing a smaller takeover of Venezia right now (just loved their jerseys) where an outside investor pumps 50m in but primarily to overhaul the scouting and youth academy with the goal of becoming a youth development hub in Italy, making money off player sales. Restriction is you cannot sign any player over the age of 23
Loads of young prospective talents in the Scandinavian leagues. I almost always end up just by default having lots of players from these countries, especially when I do English leagues One or Two because there are lots of young players in those countries with ratings that fit those leagues but with great potential, and you can actually do business with those leagues unlike some of the bigger leagues.
i’m an arsenal fan who isn’t interested in storylines but if you are playing arsenal career mode for storylines here’s some options: option 1: buy only young brazilians (hard to do considering there’s no brazilian league in fifa) option 2: invest in youth squad english players and try to make the next saka/esr/nketiah/patino option 3: make 0 signings because chelsea stole them all
My storyline is what I created own club in spain named Athletic Saint-Germain, I imagine what PSG owners want to create something similar to City football group and named Saint-Germain football group. My goal is to become like PSG but in La liga, and win a champions league faster than PSG, but try to not buy only stars, expand own youth academy, because PSG have a good one, so mine have to become better.
My latest challenge: take Cardiff, hire only Welsh players (existing or academy) and take the team all the way to the Champions League title. Very rewarding 😊
I'm doing that currently, but can't bring myself to get rid of Joe Ralls, being that he is English and not Welsh, because he is my favourite player in the save!
I've started a career where I imagine that all the football federations of Eastern Europe havs come together to create a pan-Slavic super league with teams like Dynamo Kyiv, Shakhtar, Sparta/Slavia Prague, Dinamo Zagreb, etc. I've put them all in the Romanian league and playing through the Dinamo Bucharesti. Imposed a lot of restrictions on myself - must sell to clubs in top 5 leagues, can only sign players from a select number of countries in and around Romania, all my scouts must be Romanian of from an adjacent country. Also imposed a wage cap that rises at a certain % depending on how I fair each season.
I do a story line where a real manager takes over a ok club and his challenge is to make them way better and my challenge is not to get sacked and try not to fail with my ok team
I did a fairly easy storyline with PSG where I sold everyone over 23 and resigned former PSG academy players as well as young players born in Paris. The challenge was to grow with the team and make them the best through Academy and local talent
I have a story line where a old player he’s going to retire next year and he joined a team in the championship and the players job is to get the team promotion and if you don’t get promoted you fail and if you succeed you have to see how you will do with out that player
I advice you guys to start a player career mode as well. I made a young argentinian playing for newells old boys that went to win the world cup with messi then transfered to barcelona and won everything possible there. I already have 4 ballon dors and im planning to transfer to ac milan like ronaldinho later in my career and end my career in newells.
Recommended storyline: Brighton Hove And Albion/ Aston Villa: THE WORLD CHAMPIONS ARE BACK IN TOWN! The board wants to look for more players of the albiceleste, and they decided that YOU are the man to get them those players Objective: By the end of the 1st season have at least 4 Argentinian players on the starting XI
Have a “director of football” this won’t really work with incomings so maybe limit your selves there but have a realistic real ease clause on every player and if it gets met you can’t do anything about it and the DOF sells him and maybe say you can only sign if the DOF sells ? Thoughts ?
What I like to do is go to a Club and make realistic signings, so I look at players and clubs who are likely to be willing to move (like Asensio, Van de Beek, ziyech, Martial, Ronaldo, navas) and buy them. Also I try to sell players who are too good for my club. Like if I play with real social sociadad then quarzabal is 3-4 overall better then the rest of the team, so if I get an offer I sell him.
A story line I created in fifa18 was pogba missed a pen in a shoot out to make me lose a trophy so he couldn’t play the next 3 games I also made every fifa a story with the same manager and the same team intil he gets sacked
Would be even more fun if the games actually had storylines of their own. Football games have always ignored the outside the pitch events a bit too much. Yet it could add an immense amount of fun and randomness to career mode saves.
I made a PSG Career mode simply because i love their kits, i made up a storyline that PSG have been hit massivley by FFP restrictions and sanctions and were relegated to Ligue 2 and they lost every Player, and could only use Youngsters
I've always thought especially for player career mode they should do something like the journey but instead of always getting the same type of career have multiple scenarios and endings and events. I know it's a lot especially to ask from the likes of EA but I hope we get something like that.
I just want to negotiate wages, lash out at managers, try to force my way out of the club on behavioral issues and maybe even to a specific club. Imagine starting up in somewhere like Argentina and then retiring at your first club with special animations, headlines and stuff making it emotional. Possibilities are actually endless.
@@FunkyGhostHD at the end of the day they just need to actually care about what the fans want. Hopefully, without FIFA being FIFA we will start to get that in future games
I started with Ajax. Scouting only dutch players and norwegian talents as Im playing as Erling Moe (Molde manager). He has taken over Ajax after success with Molde. When it comes to transfers. Only dutch talents in as for example Frimpong, van de Ven. Have to sell one talent to big club every summer transfer window. All the old players out. This force me to bring players from youth academy to first squad earlier than normal, and forcing me to play them on regular basis. My goal is the continue Ajax history of being a European go to club for superstar talent. Thoughts?
Gotta say, I literally can‘t do a cm and don’t follow the clubs actual philosophy. Like if I made a cm with Dortmund and only bought top stars, i‘d instantly stop playing, it‘s just super bad. Like even a 2027 carreer could be ruined with 1 bad transfer. I can‘t even buy or have the same player in 2 different career modes. Even with a top team, developing like 78s is like so much cooler than just buying 85s, just because that way it feels more unique.
Our Irish league isn't that good, so my job as a manager in association with the league was to buy upcoming stars from abroad and I can only sell an teammates to other teams in my league to raise the popularity of it
Build a team with Brazilian Cdm Spain striker , ivory coast forward, 2 English defenders an English cm a young Belgium cam and a Russian rb win the league , CL and some Fa cups
There is only one football storyline worth playing: taking the most garbage club in every league to the top of the domestic and continental game. Everything else is frosting and cherries on the football cake. Honestly, lately I’ve been on a heroes of the game journey with FIFA 14 since it it about the last game to feature my Brasileirão heroes before EA lost much of the rights to the league and players. One thing to do too is t lo edit your heroes into a club that’s trash under the pretense of “you’re an oil sheik who rolled up to the club and told fair play rules to go suck it! 😂 I put Ronaldinho and company on Portsmouth in League 2 and the challenge is to not only rise up the pyramid but also play well so the legends don’t simply demand a move to an actually big league or flat out retire in you. That’s a hard thing to do. 🎉
😂😂EA is to blame for this mess. They could have saved us all the trouble by using "the journey features" in both player and manager career mode. Fingers cross for EA Sports FC🤞.
FIFA is just garbage for Career Mode i dont understand how we went from FIFA 07 which had sponsors you can pick from and certain players you couldn't sell because they were fan favorites to the same garbage year after year things should be built upon not taken away

Made retire messi and started career mode with Newell Old boys in tough league
With restrictions of signing 4 non-south American players and all player will have release clause..
It's quite hard...but it's long term fun
Maguire the big man getting forward, tucking it away nicely.
A 90 rated South African player
2.make the country a 5 star nation
3.win the world Cup (you don't nessarily need to be the manager to complete this objective
I have few ideas for storyline:
1 - Paris Saint Germain using mainly youth academy players to win the Champions League.
Also, you can use AI such as ChatGPT to generate realistic backgroudn of a player or storylines as well
I always start with a Belgian league team, usually OHL.
Lastly, I always make sure that I have at minimum, 6 Belgian players in my starting XI.
Amazing vid, just what I needed. You got a new sub. 🙏
Other thing is to ask AIs like ChatGPT to create your YA player story and stick to it when you play
Doing a smaller takeover of Venezia right now (just loved their jerseys) where an outside investor pumps 50m in but primarily to overhaul the scouting and youth academy with the goal of becoming a youth development hub in Italy, making money off player sales. Restriction is you cannot sign any player over the age of 23
1:25 I saw that 😂😂😂😅
Only use players from Scandinavia! One of my favorites
Loads of young prospective talents in the Scandinavian leagues. I almost always end up just by default having lots of players from these countries, especially when I do English leagues One or Two because there are lots of young players in those countries with ratings that fit those leagues but with great potential, and you can actually do business with those leagues unlike some of the bigger leagues.
i’m an arsenal fan who isn’t interested in storylines but if you are playing arsenal career mode for storylines here’s some options:
option 1: buy only young brazilians (hard to do considering there’s no brazilian league in fifa)
option 2: invest in youth squad english players and try to make the next saka/esr/nketiah/patino
option 3: make 0 signings because chelsea stole them all
My storyline is what I created own club in spain named Athletic Saint-Germain, I imagine what PSG owners want to create something similar to City football group and named Saint-Germain football group.
This is my favourite kind of save. I also try to win the wc with the country as well
I've started a career where I imagine that all the football federations of Eastern Europe havs come together to create a pan-Slavic super league with teams like Dynamo Kyiv, Shakhtar, Sparta/Slavia Prague, Dinamo Zagreb, etc.
I once created a manager and gave him imaginary Ghana roots. Then I just sign a whole load of Ghana players and scout young talents there every year.
doing one rn where Real Madrid bought an english team in the efl championship to expand their brand
did any one else see the goal he scored with maguire
I did a fairly easy storyline with PSG where I sold everyone over 23 and resigned former PSG academy players as well as young players born in Paris. The challenge was to grow with the team and make them the best through Academy and local talent
Online co op career mode is what we need
How would you make a storyline if you are playing player career mode and not manager
9-0 in that scoreline and HARRY MAGUIA SCORIN?!?!?
I have a story line where a old player he’s going to retire next year and he joined a team in the championship and the players job is to get the team promotion and if you don’t get promoted you fail and if you succeed you have to see how you will do with out that player
Cool
I advice you guys to start a player career mode as well. I made a young argentinian playing for newells old boys that went to win the world cup with messi then transfered to barcelona and won everything possible there. I already have 4 ballon dors and im planning to transfer to ac milan like ronaldinho later in my career and end my career in newells.
More storylines in the generator please!
Making a wolves career where I can only sign Portuguese players. Might add in more storylines to add to it tho
I love this channel but I would love Geografifa to do a career mode series on the channel too
There is one on his other channel: @geografifa fc
What camera settings does he use ???
Recommended storyline: Brighton Hove And Albion/ Aston Villa: THE WORLD CHAMPIONS ARE BACK IN TOWN! The board wants to look for more players of the albiceleste, and they decided that YOU are the man to get them those players
Objective: By the end of the 1st season have at least 4 Argentinian players on the starting XI
Your the most helpful person of 2023
Interesting concept. I'll check out your website.
They had this on the PS2 Fifas from 06-09 i think, internal memos 📝
I made a PSG Career mode simply because i love their kits, i made up a storyline that PSG have been hit massivley by FFP restrictions and sanctions and were relegated to Ligue 2 and they lost every Player, and could only use Youngsters
what camera do you use? beautiful
Idea; Your Board has Invested in youth academy, You sell your 3 Oldest Players
the moment i see you put maguire up front i know you are legit
Guys in my device the website storyline randomiser is in another language
Brilliant videos
1.10 into the video my dude scored with Maguire on a run LMAO
Can someone Link the reddit that has all the storylines? I couldn’t find it
I started with Ajax. Thoughts?
what are ur camera settings
What’s the camera setting?
Can you please do the French league
i can't be the only one who got distracted by the game play and forgot the audio
U guys have any pcm story lines
Gotta say, I literally can‘t do a cm and don’t follow the clubs actual philosophy. Like if I made a cm with Dortmund and only bought top stars, i‘d instantly stop playing, it‘s just super bad. Like even a 2027 carreer could be ruined with 1 bad transfer. I can‘t even buy or have the same player in 2 different career modes. Even with a top team, developing like 78s is like so much cooler than just buying 85s, just because that way it feels more unique.
I thought FIFA's the journey was solid
And could have gone to the next level with Hunter going to the world cup and having a choice of US or England
ST to CM (Eriksen at Man U)
Maguire at st💀💀
Bro, you should do chapters to your videos
Our Irish league isn't that good, so my job as a manager in association with the league was to buy upcoming stars from abroad and I can only sell an teammates to other teams in my league to raise the popularity of it
Started a new Career mode save. Storyline: Celtic were dominating the Scottish Premiership and have been added to EFL championship
How?
Triangle button on playstation in the select team menu when starting a new career lets you swap teams between leagues.
So we are not gonna talk about him using Maguire as his striker🙂
he was supprisingly good! nearly got the hat trick with him, but i was impressed with the two he scored haha
He won that one game 8-0 😭😭😭😭
kinda hard to make a storyline without mods
Can someone link me to some Chelsea storylines
Build a team with Brazilian Cdm
Spain striker , ivory coast forward, 2 English defenders an English cm a young Belgium cam and a Russian rb win the league , CL and some Fa cups
I put Ronaldinho and company on Portsmouth in League 2 and the challenge is to not only rise up the pyramid but also play well so the legends don’t simply demand a move to an actually big league or flat out retire in you. That’s a hard thing to do. 🎉
😂😂EA is to blame for this mess. They could have saved us all the trouble by using "the journey features" in both player and manager career mode. Fingers cross for EA Sports FC🤞.
I’m trying to make Ronaldo eventually become a cdm
Apple 🍏
FIFA is just garbage for Career Mode
i dont understand how we went from FIFA 07 which had sponsors you can pick from and certain players you couldn't sell because they were fan favorites
to the same garbage year after year
things should be built upon not taken away
Ring FIFA now
or just grow up and play football manager ?
The fact that career mode is so trash you need to make shit up just to continue playing is sad.
