Here's a tip for when your gesso gets stuck: if the lid of your paints get stuck, hit the lid really hard with something like a screwdriver all around the lid. It helps to break up the paint.

I did something like this for my sister's birthday gift. I painted on the glass of my sister's favorite Disney Princess. And she actually has it out for people to see. Which makes me smile. :)

This might be one of my favorite videos yet! The art is phenomenal as always, I loved seeing all the familiar characters and the detailed backgrounds. I think one of the best parts though was Moriah explaining the scene to us as she clearly had thought out all the details in her head and enjoyed creating these a lot! If you have any future problems with the plastic finish, sanding should help. I had the same problem when I painted my bookcase. Sanded down all the pieces and slapped on a coat of paint primer, worked like a charm!

I absolutely love her art style!! It's cutesy, bright, somewhat whimsical lol I always try to do art and crafty stuff but it never turns out this good!!
My therapist says not to worry about the end result of things, just to enjoy doing them. So as long as you have fun doing arts and crafts, you're doing something right. If you enjoy it isn't that enough of a reason to do it? Also, you will get better at doing things the more you practice! Even Moriah would have had to start somewhere.

I always try to do art and crafty stuff but it never turns out this good!!
My therapist says not to worry about the end result of things, just to enjoy doing them. So as long as you have fun doing arts and crafts, you're doing something right. If you enjoy it isn't that enough of a reason to do it? Also, you will get better at doing things the more you practice! Even Moriah would have had to start somewhere.

Dick Bruna, the creator of Miffy, famously said that Miffy was one of the hardest to draw characters because of her simplicity. Getting it right is very difficult! So you're definitely onto something there.
