What a beautiful game. I’ve been wanting to play one of these for a while and the amount of toys they crammed into the field was ambitious. I love the idea of that pop in the bottom of the left out lane.
Flippers are not weak and it shoots well. Easy to understand after a few goes. Quite intuitive
It's not the best shooting game, but it makes up for it with how much is on it, and how well it nails an all time classic film
I've never seen this Pin in detail. I have to say it looks beautiful. The details are amazing.

I've owned WOZ many years. The echo chamber will say, It looks good but don't shoot well. Admittedly isn't a Keith E. Stern shooter, but it shoots fine. The sleeper element in WOZ is the code, similar to Destroy the Ring mode in LOTRings, you try to Melt the Witch. (If you don't know how to do it, hold the flipper and do the 4 objectives). Keith Johnson called it LOTR's code 2.0..
Joe Balcer designed it, Pat Lawler didn't have anything to do with the game. If he did, it would have half the mechs. It wouldn't surprise me if the was behind removing the monkey mech in the last version, Yellow Brick Road version. Pat L. came on board with JJP with Dialed In.
It a great game. Changed the landscape of pinball for the better. The team nailed theme integration and a true world under glass.

Thank you guys for a nice look about. I would try a super slowed down 6 degree angle and get to know the skill shots, spinne r, vuk, 4 standup BALL on left, upper flipper secrets etc. This is a journey game more than a speed hit and run. Bang the doors 3 times, main/Witch in tube, upper L loop and double door/castle and upper R loop/twister. T O T O r rollovers. I think the haunted tree's block to much viewing, but when you play where the game starts talking back to you, It is magical. Thank you from Bill P.S. a 20 min play type exp.
I see an ACNC in the corner. Don’t believe I’ve seen you review that machine? I picked one up a few months ago and although a little “brickish” at times I really enjoy it, plus being an Alice fan helps😎
I like the idea of this game, more than the actual game. There's just something unsatisfying about the shots you need to go for.
I really struggled with it. Not sure if I was just tired by that point or I need more quality time with it to find my way. It wasn't an instant 'fit' for me. You can't please all the people all of the time. 😁
Visually, it's a beautiful work of art, but a lot of people say it doesn't shoot well and that the flippers are weak. You guys didn't seem to think it was too bad.
At some point I decided I needed some Jersey Jacks. Had Hobbit and WOZ. HAD. Not a fan. I still think Dialed In is their best pin, but I haven’t played Elton yet. Sounds like they’re finally tightening up the gameplay and getting better flippers.
Yeah, we have played a few of their machines recently and the flippers are definitely on track these days. Elton is just a spectacular visual experience. This was at the end of a long day and I think both of us were a bit 'played out' so we really didn't do WoZ justice.
@@GonzosPinballFlipperama The Elton John pin might play awesome but the theme.....I mean, Elton John???? It's for a limited and small demographic. If I won an Elton John pin I would sell it or trade it inmediately.
