Every time I play TR2 and I get to this level I'm like "WHY does this level EXIST?"
Coolest possibility : In the lore of Tibet and China the dragon is a spiritual being that doesn't live in our world, so at the end of the previous level she took a portal to another dimension. We know it's another dimension as it's night, while it's daytime when she escapes the temple. Also the floating islands exist in the lore of Buddhism, it's a place were great spirits travel when they die (that could explain the warriors that can fly), you can see another reference of it in Legend of Korra with Zair that can fly with a free mind.
Other possibility : One of the devs thought it was cool to have flying warriors and death traps everywhere before the final boss, then they cut the levels in 2 parts to get more levels to promote the game, or maybe due to ressources limitations. They forgot they added zipline in the first level and someone asked a level to use them, as it took time to make the animations of it.
But it's just hypothesis :p
@@FoXMaSteR001you can also see the reference to the spirit realm in Kung Fu Panda 3. Floating islands and such. Even the main villain is possessing the jade figurines.
It also explains when she escapes the Lair of the Dragon in the end, presumably going through a portal again at the end of the game before the temple explodes.

When she mentioned it looked like a miniature golf course I was reminded of Rugrats in Paris.
This is definitely one of the most discombobulated and frustrating levels I have ever seen. But the way Lara jumps around here makes it even more daring, for it looks like she is going to fall, but she doesn't. Great job as usual! The level is terrible, but your videos are always fun to watch! Awesome! ^^

Is it just me, or do the flying statues emit a musical chord sound (something next to diminished F# or just F# and C) while making noises? I never noticed this when playing the PlayStation or PC version normally.

That level is more terrifying than the catacombs of the talion and ice palace, lots of terracottas that come to life and come at you, and even make these demonic roars far more scarier than the yetis and talion guardian

Gosh so fricken awesome i beat tomb raider 1 and 2 working on 3 and than im going back to play the expansions so much tomb raider gameplay it makes me so excited ill be sad when its over
There is still Tomb Raider 4 for the ultimate challenge, and Chronicles, but TR4 is the hardest for sure :p

She only knows what is on screen and audio (also inventory and historical stuffs of the plot), but this isn't live as generating quotes is too long for live reactions. It's the real voice of Lara (in this game) that is cloned, you can hear the ifference in the level 0 (Croft Manor). There are more explanations in the video description 😋
I wonder what makes her notice the exact moment to stop firing before the guard explodes.
The bullets bypass the mob and hit the wall behind, there is suddently no more blood on the mob

The temple of Xian and the floating islands are difficult. They're the least favorite in the game.

Why are you shooting with pistols? Have you run out of more efficient ammo or do you just like pain?
Pistols has infinite amo so Lara uses them in priority :p

Idk yet, I must analyze data to make it profitable, it takes way too much effort to produce for not enough results, I need to increase the result by 40, or reduce to production time by 40. I'm using AI to help me solving this problem, people don't see the amount of work for these videos, it's insanely high for TR2 and TR3 is way harder...

You must press action at the last moment, also you must jump from that part of the floor that is a bit higher than on the left, pressing action too soon activate the animation and she falls

If you are planning to go forward with TR3, you could introduce the save feature to your AI to make it play a Tomb Raider game more realistic. I was saving all the damn time, especially in TR3 because a wrong jump/drop can set you back a lot.
Also, can you tone down her anger a bit? The Lara I know is not as angry as your TR2 Lara. Just a suggestion.
The problem is I can't turn down the anger emotion without removing the other emotions too, it's already reduced because the anger one is just crazy by default 🤣 I think the website will fix it later because it's just too much XD

I always hated this level. Looks so easy at first but the jumps, falls and general path is kinda tricky up close. Feels like the devs were out of ideas for a level and came up with this weird obstacle course.
I've been playing Tomb Raider games from around 1998 but still can't really get some of the jumps here. Lara keeps doing illegal moves in this video and making me squeeze my butt every time she almost falls or does a crazy move.
