I was just going to asked where these are all Mined from and a fellow Australian answered a lot of my questions.... my question is as humans why to we need to mine pretty stones.... PS opals are my fav stone
Hi Tara! Opal is one of our favorite stones too. That's a great question, some minerals make their way towards the surface but most remain buried, so when a deposit is discovered, digging for them is the only way to reach them. The beauty of these stones are definitely an indication that they want to be enjoyed and appreciated. It seems the Universe knew that we humans would be fascinated with natures treasures.
