In NZ we have a K Flash guy who specializes in reflash all k series Hondas and even the j series. Big difference once the car is reflashed in terms of throttle response and earlier vtec.
Throw an rsp intake manifold on it and have some fun. Just make sure to port match it 😉 the midrange is awesome. If my cw2 auto boat can beat a cp2 v6 auto, your cu2 will have no problem with them.
Hey Chris, I have a CW2 and have been looking for parts to buy such as sway bars, exhaust, headers and intake. I was wondering if you knew what parts suit the CW2 as no one modifies them.
I've had a CU2 for over 10 years now. Was great in the beginning, however I've learnt the previous owner used 91 octane in it which ruined the engine and I had to get an engine rebuild and all 4x cylinders replaced. Then I get the "Check System" orange pop on the dash, my OBD says P420, and I'm not spending $$$ on a replacement oxygen sensor so I just clear the fault. Now I have troubles ever since starter motor replaced - it doesn't turn engine over immediately on first turn; I've had to put it into accessory mode, wait for fuel pump then try my luck. Seems to fail every 10th attempt. I'm wondering if I buy last model year CU2 or continue to repair this one. Any suggestions?
sell it and buy a newer version of the same car , they are a brilliant car, i love mine, its amazing, seems like you got some bad luck on your car, not the cars fault it had a bad previous owner
@@TURBOTRISTOThanks Tristan, thats what I've been thinking of doing for the past 6 months.. I dont want to hold on to this lemon any longer, let a P plater ruin it!! lol I was looking at 2012-2014 CU2. I love the CU2 heaps as well, when it goes, it goes! But I will definately look at getting a KFLASH done to the updated model!
I like Accord aand the sound of the engine...but after driving Suzuki Kizashi 2.4Vvti 6 speed manual with 185hp feels quicker and consumes less petrol. Only difference is top speed where Accord wins.
@@TURBOTRISTO My biggest mistake was selling my 6 speed manual with only 100.000km. These are still rolling on the streets with 300.000km only weakness was CVT from Jatco which needed careful driving and maintenance and rear shocks( poorly upper cover protection against water and debriss which damages schock).
@@TURBOTRISTO The engine is originaly 2.4 J24 from Suzuki Grand Vitara presented years before only upgraded with better injectors and airflow for best results. Old reliable technology same as with Honda. I have searched Accord Tourer manual and endeed up with Honda Civic Tourer 1.8iVtec low mileage. R18Z4 are the last series to be build. Low cost maintenance and lower consumption, but interior not quite as Accord. Has more space in boot then Accord Tourer.
@mrspecialk1234 If the air bags went off then it is pretty costly to repair.Interior is pretty nice, leather seats also good quality. As long as I know they were produced until 2015.I would buy again with low mileage without any second thought. My lowest consumption driving on open road only 6.5l/100km which is almost imposible with Accord 2.4l. Mine was silver metallic facelift looked brand new when I sold it with just 105.000km.
No Clue Why this is in old school tv square mode but hope you guys enjoy the video, go hit up FAH performance and tell Marlon TT sent you!
Would like to see more content about CU2 I love it!

Chongy needs to fly to nz
@@TURBOTRISTO Absolutely could gain more knowledge and experience with reflash and tuning of the k series 👍
Chongy does just do the flash he custom tunes them 10000 times so his flashes are actual tunes
@@TURBOTRISTO Awesome bro I was just speaking from a learning point of view in terms of sharing and gaining knowledge. Cheers bro.
it all goes hand in hand reach out
Launch control on RHONDA sounds sick!
Thanks man
Unlocking the beast within 💪
Yeah the best money you can spend
The build quality on these cars are really solid, cl9 too.
They sure are
She'll be right mate
Haha thanks man

Why is this cu2 not popular and its rare to find any content on it... I love the car myself
Luckily I make content on it, it’s a great car
reflash is great! not a fan on the pop n bangs. I like the raw high reving power of a honda.
I agree It’s what they are famous for
chong's tune is great. i have it. however rhe cracks and bangs and pops is disgusting. tacky as
Each to their own I didn’t option for it either
agreed

@@Darylrb1983 I don’t see why not
You think Chongdata can reflash a dc5 type r ecu
Yes 100% he does all the modern hondas
@@TURBOTRISTO perfect thanks alot man I’ll go to fah performance
now that really is euro
It is now haha
Sport Air filter in car too? Cotton or Paper? Thanks for answer
my cu2 has a k&N panel filter
does he tune the R18 in the 9thgen civic
You will have to ask him
Got the 1.5 tune from FAH
Awesome how do you like it
Is the cu2 tuning newish? I thought I enquired about this around a year ago and he said no deal for the cu2?
No he has had it for a few years now
Honda could put this tune in from factory but does not for durability reasons. If you want car to be reliable for years leave standard.
Correct. But driven sensible it should last as a normal untune?
FAAAAH’k yeaaah
Phaaaark oath
