The first thing my Dad showed me and preached in my head when cutting any size tree when I was young was never leave trash at ur feet anywhere around that dam Tree because it can and will kill you some day and I was 10 years old and still live that Law till this day !!!God bless his soul as he passed at my age of 12 of a heart attack
Great video thanks for sharing. Hope yall make it to Bunyan this year. My wife and I are finally gonna try and make it and I love to meet you and the crew!
Just curious.... do you guys buy gate logs? Or in other words use contract loggers? I would like to relocate out of these freakin' mountains someday...lol
Often I find bar rails un even and I square them up and deburr with the pferd bar dressing tool. I have been hand filing for over 20 years and every time I focus on improving my mechanics to get my angles and profiles the same on each side. Sometimes I get it wrong 😂 BTW, I love cutting walnut 🙌
That filing for hardwood I don't have a clue . Up here in northern Ontario Canada I was just cutting softwood . File it on the aggressive side and let it chew . Interesting to watch your style of logging .
I tried that flatter top plate angle several times. Never worked out for me,teeth don't last as long, bar drags more. Seems like if you hit something it does more damage. Just my thoughts.
Hey bud 👍😁 great video ... Liked the way you dropped the double tree. Good to hear you're staying busy. Interesting camera angle there at the end of the video.
Sounds like your takers are a bit too low or the bar rails need to be filed even. I’m happy to help if you need someone to bounce ideas off of. I hand file for several different companies.
Logger wade if you want more loggers for your crew I,ll do logging for you from Travis in pa,from a worthy need to get back into logging so I can make that big money
Pay the best in wood sale from yr. Up here in Canada never see logging price so high . Must be filling the oversea marketplace I guess Wade . Need to get in big soft timber like white or yellow and cedar and fir logs. 10 degree for Alaska saw chainsaw mill Wade don’t get into that you be all day mill them logs your cutting. Lol . Your right chainsaw cutting like donkey S..T are you getting pay by the hour I guess . 😊
Hey buddy if you ever need anything holler at me on loggerwade.com I'm in the East he's in the west he's better over all than I am but I'm cutting different type of timber.. always remember "when in Rome.... That being said always use cognitive thought because every tree is different
That wedge that u cut at the first if u would paint it like a big ole slice of watermelon as big as that was I bet them old ladies would give 95 bucks (in the rite spot) just saying lol

You've definitely got a great crew, or you'd have big issues. Hope the market comes back to you soon.

Thanks for another good vidja
Sounds like the bar is bent just a tad tater. Might just be the walls chain rail on the bar just a tad bit off to where it's pinchin the chain.
What's with all the green moss on the side of a live tree.just no sun on that side of the tree?
Hope the economy improves so your business can flourish. Good news with this order.
Good job securing the Popular Grade order. 💰
👍👍👍
hello logger wade its is randy and i like yours video is cool super thanks friends logger wade thanks randy
Imo the chain filing angle adjustments you made tend to make bar problems more pronounced in softer wood.
Just curious why you stepped out of Brutus. Business decision, change of scenery, needed more elsewhere? Thanks.
❤
Hello Calvin. Hope your baseball season goes good buddy. Put some whooppins on your daddy.
What state are y'all logging?
Good video there good buddy always a blast working with you we're about to put the girl down the slide in the morning over and out
Ole puddin can still put a tree or two on the ground
I found that any less then 30 / 10- .030 and you’re just beating the hell out of a chisel tooth

doubles like that are nasty they just want to hurt you
Probably the worst of the fallers I've ever seen
Your problem is most likely piss-poor filing . For God's sake man haft a handle into that wedge banger apparently you have zero pride
