In my opinion, "Idol" is one of the best anime openings ever, alongside Demon Slayer's "Gurenge", One Punch Man's "The Hero!", Jujutsu Kaisen's "Specialz" and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure's "Sono Chi No Sadame"

For me it's usually not surprising that the lyrics are rather deep because I'm able to pick up on subtle sounds in the song and understand its meaning. I also sing, so I know what emotions you feel while singing a certain way. It's interesting that most don't pick up on it.

I don't know if anyone involved in the video making process reads these, but if so, the audio of the music was too loud compared to Ayase's and Ikura's voices. They were hard to hear and focus on. Great interview, though!

These guys could sing the most catchy songs to dance to...until you check up the lyrics.
