Great Kendo video! That 2nd men strike was so clean. - Worth watching just for that. Fisher Sensei, can you elaborate a bit on the interaction / connection between players (if that is the right term). I think I caught the meaning and could see the difference in the video, when after a strike there were a few times where the zanshin died down a bit, footwork became twitch relaxed; not completely but a little, vs. at least one strike when Kamae was on immediately. I notice that in my jigeiko sparring I open allow myself a small break, relax on footwork etc after an exchange as my partner and I step back to toma or so. Do you have any advice or tips on training to reduce that and increase the connection?
