      Human sacrifice in public and open demonic possession is pretty bad. I wouldn’t compare now to then. We don’t know.

    Another beautiful homily from Father Mike. Thank you Father. One of the best lines I ever heard in a homily - Christianity is not a self-esteem program! So true. That is why many so-called Catholics no longer practice their faith. We need to pray for all of them that have fallen away. Jezu Ufam Tobie...

    The powerful moment was when OUR LORD voice was heard during baptism of JESUS, "you are my blessed son, I am pleased with you". We must repent n reform, believe in Our LORD'S preaching n evangelise. LORD JESUS shower your blessing on us n clear this virus n sinfulness in this world. Let the living waters flow on. AMEN. God bless u your fly n your team. 🙏🕊️🕯️❤️

    being born again is a term Jesus used and included in that narration "born of the spirit and water" in simple terms baptism! I'm 73 and wasn't baptized until age 42 and I can assure you the term "born again" is quite literally an accurate description of what happens when an adult is baptized with the Holy Spirit, fire and water! A clean soul a fresh start and a beautiful, beautiful awesome sacrament, gift from God! Thank you Jesus!!! angels, please make each of my breath prayers that proclaim: thank you Jesus! Jesus baptism is where Jesus makes the water holy and not the other way around as it does with the rest of us!!!

    Wonderful homily, as usual! One thing that hit me as you were preaching is that every time we go to communion, Christ should be increasing and we should be decreasing. I learn something new every time! Thank you!

    Pray for Ireland. Bars, restaurants close at 8.p.m Masks everywhere. No entrance for non vax into cinema, bars restaurants Freedom gone. Mask in mass. 8 hours of school with windows open, masks on. Winter here. Colleges all different regulations, some in, some out. Mental health through the roof and ignored. Headlines in media is very frightening. Prayers needed. Sad

    Sacrament of Confession ( penance) RENEWS us as well. However, its still very difficult for a holy soul to be among people who are still emerged deeply in sin and unholiness.

    Great homily Father Mike! Just a small correction, the Gospels state that Jesus was driven into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil after His baptism by John. The reason I caught that was because I’m teaching CCD today and will be talking about the baptism of our Lord and the temptation in the wilderness. God bless your Father.

      Thank You for your comment Diane and thank you for watching. You are also correct. That's a good catch. Jesus most certainly was led to the wilderness by the Holy Spirit after His Baptism. Good luck with your CCD class.

    Father O'Connor gives a more biblical sermon than any priest in the parish I grew up in. He gives a more biblical sermon than many of the woke protestant preachers that are leading their congregations into heresy and false doctrine. Father O'Connor came to me as a YT recommendation after I was looking up a couple questions concerning Catholic beliefs.
    Here is a suggestion I have for Father Mike. Being Born and being born again are terms that totally misunderstood. Please investigate the scripture from the Book of Romans that make up the Roman Road and the sinner's prayer. Afterwards, pray that God gives you understanding about what you just read and who to apply it.

    I’m interested to understand .
    Pope John Paul ll took away the altar not wearing veils , nuns habits receiving communion in the hand and he became a saint ?
    Pope Francis is deemed as the Devil by many and did a lot less removing the mandatory option of a Latin mass is that worse .
    Am I missing anything?

    • @chriscampbell7895
      @chriscampbell7895 3 роки тому

      JP2 to me not a saint, too many issues and lax on abusers
      Francis false “Pope” not legit

    • @chriscampbell7895
