Why Was Assassin's Creed Brotherhood So Good? 2023 Review
Вставка
- Опубліковано 20 чер 2023
- Today I'm taking a look at Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and deciding if it's worth playing in 2023.
I'll be critiquing the story and gameplay while also praising many aspects that improved upon assassin's creeds gameplay formula to see if those positives are enough to confidently say Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is worth buying in 2023.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is approaching it's 13th anniversary so I'm glad I replayed despite the flaws I found in this video.
So lets find out if Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is worth buying in 2023
This is my Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Review.

i used to really like this game
the brotherhood mechanic was the most innovative thing ubisoft has done in the last 15 years
they shouldve expanded upon that in further installments but ofc they didnt
story was pretty good if i remember correctly
dope vid thanks for making it see u in the next 1 buddy
Cheers max, always first these days :D that brotherhood system was so damn good but they messed it up after revelations and then just ditched it, damn shame
@@JacksGameReviews I’d go as far as calling it lazy bc how do I fumble a system like that? That’s like the middle earth games ditching the nemesis system
Imagine starting a pirate faction in black flag with the brotherhood mechanics
Replaying it currently. Back in 2011, it was the first AC I had played and there's still something magical about this game
I'm a new AC fan and Brotherhood was the first game I played as of 2 weeks ago. Magical experience for me, and I don't even have the old nostalgia for it.
AC Brotherhood feels more like a DLC to AC2 rather than a standalone game. But for some reason I enjoyed it more than AC2, probably because of the improved mechanics.
Game literally holds up to games nowadays
The Ezio Trilogy (if dome right) would make such an awesome series
Ac brotherhood has its flaws and gets repetitive true. For some reasons tho, it holds a special place in my heart. I always enjoy going back to Rome and listen to that amazing soundtrack.
Always nice to watch your reviews!
Man those soundtracks, they never fail, always amazing
Brotherhood is also one of those games I love, maybe not as much today but I still love it :D
Just finished AC2 for the 3rd time just now, i absolutely love it. Going to be starting my 2nd playthrough of brotherhood on Friday and eventually replay revelations. Ezio is definitely the best assassin. I originally bought brotherhood back in the day for the multiplayer which I thought was great, it was my first introduction to the AC franchise.
The multiplayer was soooo good, so so good, good luck with revelations :D
My ancestors where assassins and when i was around 10-11 years old the assassins had prepared a gift for me in the hospital and it was basically a surgery they did on me on my back so that my back is always straight they also made a mechanical engraved heart for me and switched it with my real heart then they performed a ceremony for me after my training where they talk about the assassins then they gave me special wine that gives you eagle vision or whatever it is called in the game i can see the same as ezio basically, they gave me blood from a tiger, bear and a cat with a special herb added to it you get a sack on your back inside of your body and when you activate it by breaking the bubble you gain all of the abilities from the animal like for example big theeth. I have been specially trained and can fight tons of people at the same time that is probably why ezio can fight like that in the game (and yes this is a real story just saying)
Which version of ACB are you playing? It looks pretty good! The remaster, or the original release with mods?
I'm playing the pc version of the original at 1440p max settings :) It still looks great with no mods!
I’d love the, to remake assassins creed triology into one game
I think overall it's the best ac game because it does a lot of things well and doesn't do a lot of things terribly. The side missions were my favorite out of any ac game.
Probably the best Ac game, but my favorite enjoyability wise is unity
Man unity, I love and hate it
It’s pretty much a next gen ac game even today yet it’s flaws are so blatant and in your face
Gonna be a tough review if I make it that far lmao
@@JacksGameReviewsPlot 5/10

Stealth 10/10
Combat 5/10
Co-op ( when it works ) 10/10
Enjoyability 10/10
Customization 9/10
So much weapons for stealth, I hated that Arno was a simp the whole story, the dead kings dlc was amazing though and made Arno even more of a badass
@@camdenproductions69unity next gen but bugs and story is the main draw back
I'm replaying all ac games. I just started brotherhood today and I'm surprised how advanced the controls are from the first 2
I think it would be really cool if you review some souls game maybe elden ring or something
I’m gonna play Elden ring by the end of year
I just have too at this point lmao
Brotherhood system, AR challenges, and several other things should have stayed as permanent AC features!
I must have played a different game because all I remember about this was upgrading stables and doing a million fetch quests and boring side missions around the 5 or so story missions. This was a massive step back from ac2 and imo was the start of the downfall of the ubisoft template for a game.
I really miss the pvp multiplayer.
I wished they invested in that instead of the God Of War wannabe RPG games that recent AC titles have been
Review gears of War trilogy
I'm going to be honest I like Brotherhood is because it's the first time you can recruit assassin. I will have my own brotherhood soon because I have no choice.
Gears of war games please
No one thinks it’s disappointing. No one. This is revisionism.
"Oh, you liked being able to explore Rome? Well, you can now explore Byzantium..."
Apparently this is bad.
What?!
Took these pathetic developers up to 2014 to add a crouch.
Ubi games are stealth based and to this day, they still havent added light and shadow dynamics in the franchise.
They are like random amateurs.
You know what? After playing the latest mirage one that goes “back to roots”…I really think none of the ppl who were in charge actually played the roots games.

Your channel and output is extremely repetitive.
I make game reviews dude
Most people want reviews not walkthroughs play throughs etc. I’ve experimented in the past and it’s not done well so I’m happy with this.
Totally understand if you get sick of it, most people come and go based on the game and that’s ok with me
And to be fair I pointed out in this exact video in the gameplay section that reviewing every ac game will get repetitive. Will be doing up till ac3 to see how it does.
If you do have any ideas that would spice the content up for yourself let me know. I always try to take feedback even when it’s blunt asf which I like lmao
@@JacksGameReviews I mean no disrespect. If it's working for you, keep doing it. I'm just looking for something different.
No disrespect taken mate, might see you around in a year or two ;)
@@JacksGameReviews I enjoyed this but think it's maybe the presentation that's a little bit repetitive (at least for me, not at all revisiting older games that I missed at the time - or having a different view on ones I did play). Delivery a little flat and quick jumps from one sentence to the next. I also didn't like the captions (with accompanying sound) on this one, they are unnecessary imo. But if that's what works nowadays and others like that style (and probably most importantly you do!) feel free please to totally ignore me! I really like your target content (and general approach) so I have been hyper critical, but mean it in a helpful way. Good wishes to you, keep up the great work :)
