- On Tuesday, the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol held its fourth hearing this month that focused on President Donald Trump's pressure on top election officials, lawmakers and workers in Arizona and Georgia to overturn the 2020 election results in their states. Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and Wandrea "Shaye " Moss, a former Georgia election worker, were among the witnesses who testified before the committee. The panel sought to bring to light the severity of the threat to democracy in the days and weeks after the election, given the enormous and persistent pressure by the president and by Rudy Giuliani on officials and Americans to promote the "big lie" that Trump had won the election.

Hopefully, we now know politicians can be professional criminals, and based on #WorstPOTUS45EVER protocols should be written to represent the current times, such that these a-holes who think they can get away with what they got away with in their private lives, will end up in jail. That is my fear. If the Republicans can take over the House and/or Senate we are doomed. Look at the Republican controlled states like Florida, Texas, etc that are making it harder and harder for anyone who might vote against them to get their vote counted. Strongarm tactics outside polling places, fewer places to vote in Democrat favored areas causing people to wait hours in long lines. Biden/Senate/House need to pass laws now that supercede states with basic voting rights, conditions. If Republicans DO lose they will keep up their lies that the other side cheated. Moderate Republicans need to step up and take back their Party from the Trumpists.

What a loss to no longer have Ms Moss no longer standing watch as an election worker. So sad, she truly loved helping people. Helping people exercise a right that was not granted to her ancestors because of bigotry. Yet she found it in her heart to surpass that bigotry with her love for people. hello, I am what you would probably call a "cultist". That sure isn't me, but I understand. I hope all is well with you, scary Times we are in..so from where I stand, and why Im on the side of trump, is not because of trump at all. Infact i had a negative thoughts about Trump in 2015/2016.
But I started listening to the voices of information that is widely open to us, and most of them told me all sorts of negative things about Trump, to the point of there being a pattern, then, it went even past that point again and again shattering what I truly don't want to believe in...that you, and me, have been and currently are being controlled. Our information is being systematically funneled , it is skewed, it is a fraud reality being spun.
By who? I don't know, there's alot of nut jobs out there an our realities are being absolutely shaken and the vast majority are trusting our establishments and going along with the narrative. Everything you believe about Trump, and about me, is a complete distraction. For what? I'm not sure, I have my speculations because I lean on the bible and trust that above all else, but that is irrelevant to the information I'm trying to share SHARE, not tell!!! You must identify the difference.
I'll be honest, you've got an impossible hill infront of you..it's not pretty what's really going on. But just ask yourself, are you being told what to believe and do you REALLY know what's going on? Because it's pretty important...hope you have a great life, and good luck
I love what Bowers wrote in his journal. What will stick to my mind from now until eternity is, that he didn't want to win, by cheating. How many CPD, NYPD, ETC do you know, who have convictions similar to Bower's??? Many lie...unfortunately, even family members and friends.

I don't call it bipartisan. I call it the committee McCarthy decided on when he refused to seat any Republicans at all.
Personally, if I were in charge I would have had the Republicans pick the five most favorable Democrats and the Democrats would choose the five most sympathetic Republicans.
It would have been a serious and well run committee that reached for truth instead of partisan posturing.
But instead we get the committee that McCarthy decided to go with instead of replacing the pro-conspiracy bomb throwers.

Not exactly a direct comparison. I'm not really suggesting that we return to England as whipped servants. I'm suggesting that extremism is not how we find the truth. You'll notice that when I suggested that the Democrats should choose the Republican members I also stipulated that the REPUBLICANS would choose the Democrats. Both sides would weed out the extremists on the other side and select the most honest opponents they could find.
