Ultralight Pond Fishing - Kastmasters, Phobe, and Little Cleo

On this Ultralight Pond Fishing outing I decided to give my box of spoons a try... One of my favorite lures of all time is the simple casting spoon. This simple little lure seems capable of catching just about any species from freshwater to salt. I ended up getting rained out towards the end of this Ultralight Pond Fishing outing but I was able to catch a few largemouth bass using kastmasters, phoebe, and a little cleo. Wow dude. Those are some big fish for that size pond. Unlucky losing tackle like that, but I would be more than happy with that 2.5 pounder. Great video as always. Tight lines my friend!

Looks like most of the ponds around here. Hopefully the rain we’ve had off and on today and I think tomorrow will help them out some. Nice bass, it was a chunky one.

I see ya always use a "Snap Swivel", do ya ever not use one ? A direct tie gives better action, altho you do catch a lot of fish yer way. I only use a swivel from main line to a leader my self. I like "UL" fishing my self . Great fun , lots of action on light lines. I also like the way ya release yer fish,not just throw em back in. Wrong I think to just heave em back ! Way to go. Try and hold the rod tip down a bit while keeping the tension on the rod top on any catch and ill help from them jumping or coming off

That's one of the smallest pond I ever seen. lol Nice fish though.
