I just drank a bottle of this tonight, I was so impressed with it that I looked it up. Your review came up . This is an amazing beer , strong, but not bitter. It looks like you got a bad batch out of date ( hence the 50p)
I am German and I drank this beer in Katowice, Poland (where it comes from). I drank already hundreds of different beer brands all over the world and in my opinion this is one of the best beers in Poland. Far better than a lot of the tasteless stuff. It is very malty and also hopped a lot. I think you bought it when it was already expired. Haha, therefore the 50p sticker on it.....
This is a fine tasting beer strong with a pleasant after taste and the sediment you mentioned was probably due to an out of date can. Drank this for years no sediment ever and one of the best beers on the market. You must be joking to criticise it this badly
I noticed he done this with a diffrent polish strong beer that actually is really nice but I knew he was going to talk badly about it becuase he started of the video with a negitive mindset about it.
I've just bought a four pack and had the first one, didn't think it was that bad to be honest, surprised with the review but reach to their own. I'm thinking the beer was a bit dodgy with the sediment, that's why it was 50p.
I drink and compare to Stella! This is a better beer; cheaper, stronger and although similar taste, it holds up better after a few cans! This is a sweet beer!
I bought some to try and it is by far not the worst beer I have ever drunk, no sediment. A cheap brown beer with an average taste yet a hig strength. This review is rather unnecessary, there is no need for a Jilly Goolden on it.
It's a very popular beer amongst 'drinkers' under the railway bridge in Peterborough, as evidenced by the sheer number of empty cans strewn along the pavement and river bank!
I would like to note, that over here in Poland this particular beer has the "a hobo's favourite" status. It's cheap, doesn't taste great, but it has one job, getting you drunk, and it does it splendidly.
There's an alcoholic who lives up the road from me who drinks that garbage, even our local recyclers don't want to take the empty cans as they drop them on the road and can't be bothered to pick them up again to put them in their truck. It's a beer to be avoided at all costs unless you are an alcoholic.
Dębowe means Oak beer. It is a lower end beer but it is not horrible. Maybe it is the worst polish beer you tried but not the worst in Poland. There are worse, believe me. It is not very popular in Poland because it is strong and it is not for everyone. If I don't like porter for example I don't say it's horrible, it is just not very popular because it's not for everyone.
I wouldn't be surprised that it had an after taste. Its got a sticker on saying 50p for a reason. Its going out of date. There not suppose to be that cheap
This is very good polish strong beer. Yes strong beer. Maybe real ale craft beer not drink beer more than 5%. Dębowe Mocne have 7%. But this is the best polish strong big brewing (not small craft) strong beer. Polish opponent like okocim mocne, warka strong or jabłonowo mocne are much worst. That was the bigger brewing company. Markets have chipest mark, and they are much worst all. (Sorry for bad English, im from Poland). This beer is the best winter to drink slowly cold. It is not good for summer drinking sessions. And in Poland cost normally ~4pln this is ~0,85 gbp. So 0,50 gbp that was promo, and cheapest than normally in Poland. I think in UK this beer cost now ~1,50 gbp. Regardless of the price, it is a very good Polish strong beer.
A can of strong bow, a can of Heineken, a big slug of dry sherry and a shot of rum, mix well - you will have De bowe! It says 7% but I was bangin' after 1 can! It has a sort of xmas party feel to it. Not the worst brew and very festive!
I can't disagree. (I don't like Heineken, except for the fresh stuff during a Dutch brewery tour though). I sometimes use it as a mixer with rum or bourbon.
The reason it was so cheap is because it was likely going out of date so doesn’t surprise me that the aftertaste wasn’t the greatest try a fresh can thats in date trust me you will have a different experience👌🍻
Dude, why are you doing this to yourself? In Poland, it is one of the cheapest ways to get drunk. You do not buy it to taste something good, but to forget something.
The Warka ones are terrible. There's definitely something wrong with it. That's a pukka lager. One of the best. Get a fresh one, and try again. For starters, this shouldn't be unfiltered. I am very surprised at your ignorance concerning these Polish lagers. Sorry, but you've completely fucked up with this review buddy.
There's no such thing as "the worst Polish beer". They're all pretty decent including this one. It's not a craft beer and it doesn't claim to be. Why did you even bother with it?
a 50p can is there for a reason bro wouldnt slag it off that much concidering it could have been dropped several times and stored for a couple of years
Its a lovely drop !!! We can't all afford £4 for a posey brew in a can when you can get rat arsed for the same monay on 4 tins for around the same price
The best and my favourite beer I've been drinking for 15 years, and I never tasted anything better (and I tried hundreds of different brands, those big-concern and more local one here in Poland), one of the very few strong lagers that doesn't smell with alcohol. Good and unique taste as for cocnern beer. And I'm not homeless bum. This beer costs almost 4 zł now in Poland, so I don't have any idea where this opinion comes from. You compare it to Warka Strong which is completely different in smell and taste? Like day and night? (Warka Strong is not that bad, too). Maybe 7% is too much for you, and your senses got completely confused after the first sip. Btw there are many reviews saying the beer is ok.
Drinking one now and its packed with flavour , A totally biased review with a lot of amatur dramatics thrown in , beer snobbery at its best with a 50p label stuck on , so fake ! . My view , go and try this beer and ignore this silly review .
I drink this! 🤣 Clearly made for a market where people are used to stronger drinks than beer i.e. spirits. You think that's bad, you should defo do a review for "Karpackie" - again, probably not one for the discerning beer taster!
Simon this 'beer' has been brewed by Kompania Piwowarska based in Poznan (Polish brewing group) The biggest brewing group in Poland. They fully belong to InBev (previuosly SABMiller). Most known beers from them are Lech, Tyskie, Zubr. Love yours review mate, and appreciate your sacrifice 😉😉😉👍👍👍. Cheers
Goodness me, this guy needs to have his tastebuds checked out. I have no idea what he was on when he tried it. It also goes to show that this he knows barely anything about beer, so why is he reviewing and why did I waste my time watching it. I cannot believe that he said that it was made by a small brewery, when it was actually brewed by one of Poland’s biggest (Lech/Tyskie). More importantly the beer is not at all bad. Yes, it’s strong, but it doesn’t taste it. Also, what the hell is he going on about with the aftertaste? I didn’t experience any. The guys a fool and it’s certainly not worth watching any more of his reviews.
7% ABV, Amber, light syrup with mild flavour. A lighter version of Carlsberg Special Brew. (£1.65 - 2023 / 2024). I often purchase from local Polish / Lithuanian store in Thetford. Never had any gunge in my cans, try a fresh "in date" can 🤣
Didn't you have this once before? Debowe Mocne in the bottle? You didn't say it was bad then...has the same design and everything. Also, Warka Strong to me is pretty good as far as Euro Strongs go... Cheers to you from America!
I know it's 1% less but Perla honey is lovely. It's in a gold can and well worth the £1.10 tag. BTW there are 2 Polish drinks I want to find. One a 7%er which was so smooth and moorish you'd think it was about half of the stated abv. Another was a fortified wine/sissy spirit at 20 or 26%. It was a 70cl glass bottle. Strange shape, similar to gin bottles but more rounded corners. The main thing I remember was it's white label with pictures of the round slit honey daber, hexagon bee wax thing and flowers. Wish I could find it again, best session I've had. Have to admit Eastern EU guys can really hold their drink. I'd supplied Desi/Indian moonshine which they loved. No idea of it's % but it was very high.
50p? Where the hell did you get that beer for 50p? Must have been out of date! And it tastes good for what it's designed to be. It's a drink designed to get you hammered very quick, so taste it's not really relevant!
In my opinion /meiner meinung nach IT is the best strong-lager in the Polish market for this price and IT should be unfiltered, please taste doctor brew from Lwòwek brewery it is awsome . From british beers I like Fosters much. Greetings from Poland

If someone was drinking g n it's all night and you gave them their last drink first they would shudder.....just saying is all
I love this review. You probably couldn't have the worst beer to try :) This only fits those looking for an alcohol - price ratio. BTW this beer is a product of a biggest Polish beer manufacturer which used to be a part of SAB Muller and now belongs to Asahi Group (which also recently bought Fullers Brewery in London). This is a very good example of how big manufacturers work - quantity over quality. Fortunately, there is plenty of excellent beer in Poland as well so do not bother trying Debowe, Zywiec, Tyskie, Lech, Warka, Okocim, Zubr, etc.

I think to make these beers stronger they dont ferment it longer because it would be expensive so they add cheap spirit into that's why when I drink it I drink it like vodka and I try to stop myself from vomiting after every mouth full.
