    Chopped or sliced onions can be stored in a sealed container in your refrigerator at the proper temperature of 40°F or below for 7 to 10 days (Source: USDA). For pre-cut fresh or frozen products, always use and follow manufactures "use by" dates.
    Source: internet. ( dozens of websites)

    Hi, I love your methods. One tip though. I keep my coriander leaves by slicing a little off the stems and then put them in a cup or glass with water and they will continue to live for quite a while. You just cut off what you need. I do this with most of my herbs.

    Nice ideas! I would rather say this is for both working Women and Men (married or bachelor). Being married doesn't entitle a man to ready meals from his better half, especially if the better half is working.

    • @padmadevan3119
      @padmadevan3119 5 років тому +1

      Small onions are said to have better flavour for sambar. While bigger onions can be used for other dishes. There is no much difference in consistency. But smaller onions are said to be healthier and tastier

    Please try to use less plastic in your day to day life... It starts with kitchen... You can opt for glass containers... Or try not to buy items in bulk.. since buying less food and using them will quickly will not compromise with health and nutritional value..

      Easily said than done. Glass containers are expensive and buying larger quantities saves money. To each his own. Plus, we should be respectful of other people's ways always and specially when we don't know if they can afford suggestions... Food for thought.
