Chopped or sliced onions can be stored in a sealed container in your refrigerator at the proper temperature of 40°F or below for 7 to 10 days (Source: USDA). For pre-cut fresh or frozen products, always use and follow manufactures "use by" dates.
Source: internet. ( dozens of websites)
Wanted to diverse my food palate and knowledge of culture around the world so wanted to do Indian food this week! Thanks for the video
Hi, I love your methods. One tip though. I keep my coriander leaves by slicing a little off the stems and then put them in a cup or glass with water and they will continue to live for quite a while. You just cut off what you need. I do this with most of my herbs.
But flavour is lost
Very useful meal prep ideas. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thanks for sharing. very informative. can u pls tell us how you dry your coriander thoroughly before storing?
V helpful. vl definitely try.. M a working girl... it's v informative

Thank you so much. It all makes so much sense!
very nice video. thanks for inspiring others to be more organized and prepared.. meal planning is really helpful for working MOM from my experience.. Subscribed to your channel..:)
just a suggestion, pls don't throw the roots of the coriander.. u can wash them very well and store them.. can use it for soup or stock..
Munmun
Even the onion peels can be frozen to add in stock if you wash them first.
Another suggestion...u can chop and store coriander in a sieved container

And i liked ur coconut tool...
Can u tell me from where it ll get?
Thank you for your tips. Namaste
Awesome tips! Thank u
Even I'm working my few tips are hear
I prepare all dry rosted 1 coconut
2 seasome seeds 3 gasa gasalu
4 peanut in one separate box it use for chutney or any masala curry
Next prepare wheat dough
Idlli dosa batter for three days it save the time
Nice ideas! I would rather say this is for both working Women and Men (married or bachelor). Being married doesn't entitle a man to ready meals from his better half, especially if the better half is working.
I've heard that peeled onion shouldn't be stored in the refrigerator even a single day, as it turns to be poison the next day
Gud ideas.....i m only confused regarding onions....i m storing them n the freezer now....but rest all r really really gud ideas...
Very helpful. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Hello! Why do you use both small and big onions for? Are they different in flavor/consistency?
Small onions are said to have better flavour for sambar. While bigger onions can be used for other dishes. There is no much difference in consistency. But smaller onions are said to be healthier and tastier

Wonderful
Please try to use less plastic in your day to day life... It starts with kitchen... You can opt for glass containers... Or try not to buy items in bulk.. since buying less food and using them will quickly will not compromise with health and nutritional value..
😘
Pallavi Ramteke
Easily said than done. Glass containers are expensive and buying larger quantities saves money. To each his own. Plus, we should be respectful of other people's ways always and specially when we don't know if they can afford suggestions... Food for thought.
Hi deeps!! I got a doubt they say if we peel onions and keep it will attracts(or cultivate) bacteria it seems... So is it safe???
Shakila A peeling is not problem.. I have been using like tht...u Maynor chop but peel and store..

Deeps kitchen even I thought the same. I watched a horror movie too before your video and I thought I was imagining it or an hallucination. But it looks so real and you don't expect things move on their own in general UA-cam videos. 😂 thanks for the reply though
