I get that Sheela was not a genuine seeker of Truth (maybe she was.. At the beginning) and that power and fame was all she ever wanted. She was basically an attention seeker which is why she was always scared at the back of her mind about potentially deceiving the master which she eventually did! However, as a spiritual master, was Osho also not responsible for everything that happened and how the entire foundation crumbled down because of her. After all, he was the Founder. But then, Judas also deceived Jesus. Osho once said that "Mahatma Gandhi's Poverty Is Very Costly." But in this instance, his silence proved to be costly for whatever happened later on.
You might be right, but at this point all we can do is assume. He also said that the way he lived was not "him" anymore, but rather, his life was being led by existence itself. The man knew more than what he expressed. Perhaps inside he always knew what was gonna happen with the ranch, with Sheila, with the poison in the US jails, but understood that ultimately, it was the master plan of the universal mind leading him to fulfill his mission. The aftermath of all these events is slowly being revealed to us in the years that passed and in our present. They were the seed of the events that are to come. So, perhaps all that happened was supposed to happen in the exact way they did, even if we unenlightened people don't see the bigger picture.
Ive been thinking about this alot maybe i can get some feedback.to me Oshos only serious contradiction with which he talks much about everything having them is that he seems to have bypassed the family philosophy that is culturally stronger than many in the east may realize maybe at an unconscious level.if he had embraced the family concept he would he been compromised and that would not have been true.so i guess it will always cross peoples eyes into the idea of a cult heart in light of the very progressive idea of a family in a broader sense than many see it now.

Osho preached to love everyone, but if he paid any attention to Shiela’s interviews and conduct he could’ve clearly seen that she was full of hatred. Shiela constantly threatened everyone who questioned her and used profanity. When they started bringing guns at least, Osho should have demoted Shiela but instead he supported everything she did publicly until he got arrested.

I get that Sheela was not a genuine seeker of Truth (maybe she was.. At the beginning) and that power and fame was all she ever wanted. She was basically an attention seeker which is why she was always scared at the back of her mind about potentially deceiving the master which she eventually did!
However, as a spiritual master, was Osho also not responsible for everything that happened and how the entire foundation crumbled down because of her. After all, he was the Founder. But then, Judas also deceived Jesus. Osho once said that "Mahatma Gandhi's Poverty Is Very Costly." But in this instance, his silence proved to be costly for whatever happened later on.
You might be right, but at this point all we can do is assume. He also said that the way he lived was not "him" anymore, but rather, his life was being led by existence itself. The man knew more than what he expressed. Perhaps inside he always knew what was gonna happen with the ranch, with Sheila, with the poison in the US jails, but understood that ultimately, it was the master plan of the universal mind leading him to fulfill his mission. The aftermath of all these events is slowly being revealed to us in the years that passed and in our present. They were the seed of the events that are to come. So, perhaps all that happened was supposed to happen in the exact way they did, even if we unenlightened people don't see the bigger picture.

Ive been thinking about this alot maybe i can get some feedback.to me Oshos only serious contradiction with which he talks much about everything having them is that he seems to have bypassed the family philosophy that is culturally stronger than many in the east may realize maybe at an unconscious level.if he had embraced the family concept he would he been compromised and that would not have been true.so i guess it will always cross peoples eyes into the idea of a cult heart in light of the very progressive idea of a family in a broader sense than many see it now.
And if he was aware of this which surely he was then he really seems a Martyr considering he was taken out by the powers that be.many famous people are.
