You rock, Laser Dave 👍
great job Dave
Another really great video, thanks Dave
Great video David
Thanks Clark!
Hey @David Stevens
Why use this method over the 10x10 grid you see for many hobby lasers? It seems to me you'd need a stack of these discs for each material to see a broad spectrum of settings?
Hi Justin! A 10x10 grid should work just as well. If you have an idea of how your material will react to being laser processed, it may not be necessary to run 100 different settings. Either way, it is always a good idea to test your material to find the best settings for you!
Thanks for the helpful info/video.
We have a new 120 watt speedy 400 and need similar info burning thru spray paint layers on the white Stretched Canvas frames purchased @ Michaels. We have a gift shop customer that sells seasonal decorative signs and we didn't want to make stencils for each sign (most signs are black with white lettering). We are also quoting custom cigar boxes that have a very detailed 3 color logo that would need stencils and airbrushing if we can't use the laser to burn thru the paint. Would save us a lot of time if anyone has experience on a Trotec doing this kind of work, Thank you.
