You are the "Bob Ross" of floristry! :) I have been watching your channel with the intention of doing my own florals for my wedding in June. Not only have your video's been incredibly helpful, but it brings me so much joy to watch them!
Absolutely fantastic John!! The ivy is wonderful on such an arch and as usual you have made the foliage beautiful on its own! i am grateful for your white wall where you can see everything very well. I love how you've ended by posing inside. Thanks John. Gorgeous.
Really elegant and romantic. Flowers are very expensive where I live. I'm thrilled that you've demonstrated that you don't need a lot of flowers to create something amazing. As always...excellent job, John. Thanks so much.🌻
WOW John!!! I really liked this one. I have never had to do an arch; but, now I'd like to try!!! Also, if I may say, KICKING LEGS, JOHN!!! Very nice!!!
Beautiful arch! A lovely natural mix of foliage and flowers. So much more lovely than some of the arches just now which are so ostentatiously packed with flowers.
That’s so true! And because so many brides see those images online, they approach planning their wedding wanting that look but being totally unprepared for the expense!
Beautiful! Thank you for showing the mechanics. It’s always the biggest challenge. So interesting that you have used 20 large roses with some smaller spray roses and gypsophila. It just shows you can make a really big impact with relatively few flowers. Gorgeous! X
Thank you! Yes, you would think it was 60 roses and more other flowers needed to make something like this - and yo7 can of course, but it’s nice as is - more natural and balanced I think 🤔 🌼🌼🌼
😍😍😍😍😍 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Fantastic job John, really beautiful, of all your videos this is the first time you've done one. congratulations 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 is very very nice😍❤️ I have understood the mechanics and the steps to do it. 😊🦌🌹
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this, John! I very much appreciate your experience and the tips you have to offer about constructing a design like this and the mechanics involved. Your choice of flowers and greenery is spot on - not too much, nor too little. And while I am no fan of gyp, I can't agree more that in some instances, a little is just perfect. I love watching you work, too. You inspire. Thank you, and all good wishes.
Thank you so much! 🌼 we were meaning to create an arch for so long, so finally we have done it. There will also be a different foam free version coming soon as well, with a wilder boho look. Thank you so much for the great feedback - really glad you enjoyed the video 🌼🙋🏼♂️😀
So soft. I love the mix of greens. Amazing how fast you pulled it all together :) Fall is on it's way. I hope you have fall flowers in your garden. Stay safe and God Bless.
Oh wow! beautiful. This vid in particular is VERY VERY helpful to me. I have been strugling for years on getting the flowers on the iconostasis right. Only now i realized i need to have an arch made that will just fit the Royal Doors. so i can attach the oasis to that. This way i can also do the flower arranging outside and have it carried in to place in front of the Royal Doors. Saves a lot of messyness and cleaning up. Thanks for uploading. God bless (ps i love the big longcase clock in the other room. Im a huge clock junkie. one can never have enough clocks.)
Thank you! It would take to people to move I think - but that’s great you are inspired! The grandfather clock is beautiful - has been in the family for a long time, and now on the landing! It used to work but the weights dropped and never been reset up . Not sure if I want it going though - though after a while you don’t hear it! 😀
Fantastic job - love the way you separated the floral arrangements and yet still made everything work together - you truly are a master of balance and design - thanks
Wuaoooooo precioso 😻 precioso 🤩 todo lo que sus manos 🙌 asen espectacular 😍 gracias 🙏🏻 por compartir lástima que no puedo aserlo felicidades bendiciones
Gorgeous! I think I could make a semblance that looks like this just from watching your excellent demonstration. Thank you so much for sharing your incredible skills! 👍🏻👏🏻
Very lovely! And such good and nice explanations. And yes, the small flowers in the other color did make the whole arch come alive more to the eyes. Guess they love contrasts. Personally I think I would have liked the whites to differ a bit more too. To also give it more depth. So when pink is the added color I'd choose a white rose with a pink hint to it as well as the pure white ones. Thank you for showing the process.
Thank you! You are right - the design can be taken in different directions depending on what the flower choice used is. Some beautiful garden style / David Austen roses would of been nice in it 😀🙋🏼♂️
I am so excited that you did this arch design. I am a DIYer and I will be doing a wedding arch with some of the same greeneries. I am in love!! Thanks soooo much for always sharing with us !!!!
Fabulous John as always….caged shovels…..genius ❤️👍going from this arch….to supermarket flowers ….is there anyway we can dress up supermarket flowers ….island living is soooo restrictive….any tips would be really appreciated ❤️❤️❤️
I absolutely agree with stepps511 your work is amazing for lack of a better expression, just simply amazing. The pride you show radiates through your patience in explaining and assembling the actual arraignment during your demonstration. The fact that you make an unskilled untalented person like me feel they can accomplish such a magnificent feat is simply “AMAZING” (there is that word again☺️). I can barely wait for the next arch demo as a matter of fact I’m just enjoying them all. I was hooked after that elegant corsage “fit for a queen 👸”. BEAUTIFUL!!!

Beautiful work John! Lovely choice of products, too. When designing something like this for an event, would you ever predesign any of the cages, then transport them to the venue for installation? Or do you always design on-site? Thanks for sharing your talents!
Thank you! I think if you have a van that can take the arch you could set the cages on, and pre green - but then it’s open to damage in transit. It’s a lot lighter just as a frame and then set up! But you could pre-green the cages then tie them on . Then it’s just linking with ivy and add the flowers. So I suppose it depends on the size of your van as much as anything! 😀🙋🏼♂️
Thank you 😊 It depends what you are planning to use - if you can add garden foliage then you might just buy some basic green and some highlight foliage - so maybe 4 bunch large salal, 15 -25 stem long asparagus fern, 4 / 6 bunch eucalyptus and 6 - 8 bunch long Italian ruskus . You can change the look by adding more if one and less of others - so it could be more eucalyptus / silver grey, or more fern and fluffy, or more greens - you are in control! 😀
@@FlowerJoos Yes I am already having Ivy, ruscus, asparagus fern, seeded eucalyptus, and baby eucalyptus I will get some salal if I decide to do the arch thanks for the info!
