Hershey Park was my first job. It was a great place to work. I got into the park free with my badge, and I got free 2 tickets with my paycheck 1 in a while. The Hershey company still cares about its employees. An employees caféa as well for employees was heated and had ac. I would gladly go back and work for them agin
I've been to Philadelphia and saw the Liberty Bell and Liberty Hall. I want to come back to see it again. I also saw Benjamin Franklin's grave, the outside of Betsy Ross' house and the church that Benjamin Franklin would have worshipped in. Of course the group I was with also had to eat where the Phili-Cheese Steak sandwich was created. There is still so much to see in Philadelphia like a Phillies game, a nuclear submarine that had tours and so much more.
@@janetcarbone4213 Yeah. In the 1980s and 90s, it was booming. Clubs and restaurants would bring people in from Philly, Baltimore, and D.C.. Then "they" railroaded the Mayor Steve Reed out. "They" elected a black woman, Linda Thompson, who in her ONE term, alienated everybody, and ruined the city. It has never recovered.
I actually Live in Pennsylvania and I actually toured Fallingwater in 2010 on my Honeymoon ( I've since then divorced) it's as Gorgeous on the outside as it is on the inside.
Should've added Beams Rocks off route 30 near Ligonier Pa. Its a natural cliff face that overlooks a gorgeous landscape. I can supply photos if needed and Ligonier is filled with history from the French and Indian war due to Fort Ligonier. Not to mention Idlewild and Soak Zone amusement park is there which is over 130 years old.
Thanks for the suggestion, we'll look into it and add this in next part. and yes sure, please share pics/vids or any media you have @ travelawaitsyouu@gmail.com
Haven’t finished the video yet, just wanted to insert my unwanted opinion that the first spot the house on the waterfall is completely overrated. It is very beautiful and it would be incredible as an expensive or fair priced but highly wanted air bnb. You literally drive all the way out there to pay to walk through what used to be a cool house but don’t think about taking any pictures. They’re more than happy to sell them to you tho. It really was way ahead of its time but if you’re interested in it watch a video instead of visiting irl. They ruined a beautiful home and property by making it a tourist attraction. It’s like turning a old tree into a table and charging people to sit at it and not eat anything then get up and leave
It's really not very good odds that if you picked up a guitar, it was a Martin. Reason being, Martin is a very fine guitar and not a lot of people can afford them or want to afford them I guess is the real issue. Most folks don't do their research and just want to buy a guitar to play around with. In which case you'll end up with an Epiphone, a Gibson, a Yamaha or if it's electric it will be an Ibanez most likely. If you play for a while and feel like you have mastered or almost mastered the guitar, then you might treat yourself to a Martin! Beautiful sound classic look. Wonderful guitar
@@travelawaitsyou Many times, I've actually rode a train across the viaduct before it was closed and then destroyed. When I was a kid our family reunions were always at Cherry Springs
I walked across the Kinzua bridge, then 5 years later, it was almost completely destroyed by a tornado. I haven't been back there since before the disaster, but plan to re-visit.
I've been to Falling Water twice. The kitchen is not impressive at all. Copperhead snakes, a stagnant "pool", a hallway built around a rock... May be a nice place to visit but I definitely would not want to live there!
If you believe in "millions of years" your following a false religion, God made the world. Its not possible for this universe to exist without a creator.
The general contractor for Falling Waters was Ray Viner Hall. He was a student of FLW and his home and offices were located in Port Allegany, PA. His house is still there, built into the side of the mountain along Route 6 between Smethport and Port. He was a resident of Port Allegany and very well known to the locals. He frequented The Kitchen Inn on Main Street, long since torn down. Port Allegany has fallen onto hard tiimes and really doesn't have much more than a glass factory and a high school. Its a shame, Port was once a vibrant and sophisticated town. The plaster work done at Falling Waters was done by Anderson and Eicker. They were a professional level outfit that did amazing work. My folks had our 1890 2 story victorian house in Port remodeled in the 50s and they used Anderson and Eicher to do the new plaster work in the house. REAL plaster, done by the same guys who built Falling Waters. But Ray Viner Hall's house on Lynn Hall Hill near Port Allegany was purchased several years ago and rescued from certain demolition. It has since been sold to the new owners from Florida who have further saved the building and have done an absolutely amazing restoration job of this spectacular home. They even restored the indoor water fall to its original glory. These boys are to be congratulated on such an amazing restoration. You really should plan a visit up to Port Allegany PA 16743 !! It needs renewed interest in the areas history and it needs an influx of money, ideas and creativity! I think the golf course is still for sale (Indian Echo CC) which would be a fantastic addition to the local sport as golf is a major industry in the area (Bradford). The course is 9 holes x2 and has a gorgeous club house. Go to my page and I will put up a video of the golf course. Please come buy it! If your tired of the city life, this is the place! (And Wellsboro and the PA Grand Canyon are not far at all)

It's all true. I bought my brother, a musician, a Martin for his birthday one year. He loved it!
The Pine Creek gorge and the Kinzua skywalk are within an hour from me, Cherry Springs state park is 15 miles.

Howdy neighbor! My family is from Austin. Parents and Grandparents are all buried down there, currently live in Rochester NY.
I walked across the Kinzua bridge, then 5 years later, it was almost completely destroyed by a tornado. I haven't been back there since before the disaster, but plan to re-visit.

Fallingwater is a Frank Lloyd Wright House as I actually live in Pennsylvania.
None of these are secret or unknown
they are. for non-PA residents
