Mario is my favorite tenor, and he is so handsome as well.I listen to him often, have seen all his films, interviews, and I keep an eye out for whatever I have missed.
Gorgeous in every way!! So many people talk about the Great Pavarotti....and great he was and will always be. That said, I so wish the entire world knew more about the man who inspired Pavarotti and so many other great legends, including Elvis!!! I love this guy! I personally believe Mario's version of Nessun Dorma shines brighter than all the rest....talk about walls shaking and plaster falling off the ceiling. Stunning.....just indescribably stunning!
@@sugarbist Thank you. I think I have read them all, including Dolores Hart (or Mother Dolores Hart). I felt her "recollections" were not the kindest. Strange really for a nun! How he was treated in death was so terrible. Yet we cannot dwell on that awful time; he gave so much beauty; that is what we must concentrate on in this mad, mad, mad world. Take care, and all the very best!!
Mario Lanza is the King of all Tenors 👑💯 " No vocal technique ever seems to stand in the way of yearning passion. Tremendous artistry to bring emotions to life, immortal forever. "
Very enjoyable and delightful! ⭐️💖⭐️ And just another reminder of how much the (musical) world lost when Mario Lanza left it all too soon... Thanks for sharing! 🙏🍀 For a little time I almost felt as if I were back in Rome, especially when I watched the lovely scene on Piazza Navona... 🇮🇹
Lanza the only singer that I have heard that can say the word(s) and when they come out they open up and the utmost meaning of the word emits. Not every one but so many that it is very noticeable.
I have all the Mario Lanza films! Even though he wasn’t in “The Student Prince”, but in my opinion, the acting of Edmund Perdum and the voice of Mario Lanza wasWhat’s up there
@sugarbist If that's what you gathered from what Mario said, you need help with comprehension. People like you leave trouble wherever they travel (local/abroad). Though it's not intentional, it is from too much ignorance, and speaking their perceived, incorrect, supposed truths. The sad thing is, some believe you!
Mario lanza one of the best voices ever
There will never be another Mario Lanza. The range, clarity, richness, and versatility will never be heard again. Forever missed but not forgotten.

Pav didn't have the depth and power of Mario's voice.
@@Mikep487 Amen to that.
Non ha influenzato solo Pavarotti Carreras Domingo Aragall e molti altri tenori .
Dear Toni, There are at least 5 books about Mario Lanza

Thanks soooo much for providing these colorized clips. Also, the sound quality of Mario's singing...Wow!

I have the movie, Mario is great
Mario we’re the best tenor,he died to early.
Lanza was a good hearted person, but the little girl singing here took advantage of Lanza's kindness, always asking him for money and leads.

Good! Lanza knew she was taking advantage of his kindness. But with children of his own.He was generous and patient.
And his children were none too keen on her either.
Mario was another great singer who died too young.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Saw this mentioned on Soprano's and figured I'd check it out very nice
Me too
Mario died way too young!
Who is the girl?
