Just some notes, a lot of the scenes with Orihime was changed from the manga due to the anime directors bias so these aren’t spoilers : Ichigo never actually ran into Orihime. Her introduction in the manga was her daydreaming about Ichigo as her friend Tatsuki asks her what she sees in Ichigo. The car scene actually happened at night away from Ichigo or Rukis which is why neither noticed her brother saving her. Ichigo and Rukia were training in the park, and that’s when Ichigo and Orihime saw each other out of school instead of after getting “run over”. Her brother wasn’t actually turned into a hollow by other hollows, that’s just an anime only concept that has a lot of plot holes. And finally Ichigo was the main reason for Sora (Orihime’s brother) getting how he was. In the anime he said Orihime stoped praying shortly after becoming friends with Tatsuki but in the manga it was because Orihime constantly talked about Ichigo while praying to him, like “Ichigo this Ichigo that”. Also wait, actual final note since this one was just censorship instead of an actual story change, While the anime says Orihime’s parents abandoned her and her brother, in the manga they were actually so abusive that her brother ran away from her out of fear they would actually kill her, he had to hide her when she cried because they would beat her as a baby to shut her up. The early Bleach anime has a lot of changes like this that sort of ruin the story mostly early on, especially regarding Orihime. It got so bad the manga author said watching the anime gave him stomachaches and he demanded to see the episode scripts.
Wow that's something I didn't even know I have seen all of bleach and started reading the Manga when I caught up to where the anime was at 10 years ago but I have never read the beggening of the show only seen it animated
The main thing i find similar with Bleach and JJK personally is the Hollows and the Curses. Even tho they're 2 different things, they cant be seen by regular humans.
I wouldnt say underrated this series is massively popular even in my country i hardly believe you will know naruto without knowing bleach plus it influence on anime is clearly visible from jjk,bc,dm etc
@Nkosinathi Sibiya it is popular yes but most of people it is just "another anime" without any special. I think it is the most underrated because people don't know, really, how good it is.
@@JonaD757 Despite its popularity it's widely criticized for weak/ropey storytelling (especially after the first 2 arcs), mind numbing powerscaling, plot armor, etc. Although a lot of people are starting to re-evaluate it and appreciate it for the things it does well besides its plot.
Not sure how long you're gonna watch this, but around episode 50-something, there's a little 30 second post-credits comedy scene after every episode (for the next 100+ episodes, anyway). Just so you know--they're easy to miss.

I'm genuinely thankful to see someone actually explaining these changes and plot holes
They did my girl Orihime so dirty in the anime 😞
I didn't read the manga, i knew Inoue's character was too much focused on Ichigo but ar this point ?

Bleach is one of the most underrated animes of all time. Just enjoy.

Bleach is one of the Big 3, has a massive fanbase, and the new Season topped My Anime List, underrated how?
@Jonathan Watson still underrated. He should be one of the best 2 side by side with One Piece. Original story and high quality drama.
