FYI Guys. There is a large "O-ring" at the base of that blue cylinder head and super important to check or replace if you are doing this job. In fact, for the 1900 there are 3 O rings there: SBA052310700, SBA052300900 and a tiny one SBA052100120. Cheers.
Your hydraulic oil needs changed, it has water in it . If I am not mistaken that oil also lubricates your transmission and differential. I know it is not cheap but if you want the tractor to last it should be done. Just saying.
My granddads old 1700 has the same problem it runs but the rear lifts don’t go up. I will have to try this and see if it works. Been scared to death to work on it since the parts as dam near impossible to get
Charge hyd oil every year or two and filter you will never have trouble with hyd system, the tractor place I worked at would not buy antiz but the farmers bought it to me
I thinking about doing the transmission filter my fluid looks a little dirty don't want any trash to ruin my seal looks like it's a job, then one of my draw arms is bent, I bought a broken brush hog from a scrapper need to fix it up
@@DannysCam you should service the trans, they frequently get water and such in them from sitting for long periods of time, just use a quality UTF. Not the Napa 303 or the cheap j20 fluid. Those are trashy oils
Cool! I own the exact same tractor. I'm having a weird problem with my lift. After running for about 30 minutes the life quits lifting. Any ideas? Oh, I also don't have, and can't find, the dip stick for the trans.
glad to see you getting the old girl back in shape.

Hey thanks for the info
We have a 1700 that was totally submerged in Katrina just flushed everything out still running strong.
That's awesome I keep this one as yard art until I get more land it sits 8 months but always fires right up
Nice work! Next time you replace a hydraulic seal. Drop it in boiling water before installation. It makes installing it 400 times easier! Great video!
Thanks for the info makes sense little heat would make it easier
Thanks! Doin one this weekend. That will come in handy.
Good job. Nothing fancy. Just get it going

I agree probably my next step plus there's a filter in the transmission you have to drain all the fluid to be able to get to
@@DannysCam 👍👍👍👍👍
The shifters have rubber boots around them that deteriorates over time and let rain water in and need to be replaced as well!
@@donaldhofman5257 totally agree.
Yep and it’s the main reason lower brg goes out and I make a lot of money because people don’t listen
After 4or 5 grand they hear better
Nice fix!
Do a bbq pork video

Could also be that the hydraulic filter is clogged up. It’s near the right rear tire 4 bolts this will also drain all the fluid.
Nice

nice! odd that it is a CHN part. I'd love to see a detail on this !
That is odd sadly I think most are like that
Ford tractors became New hollands which is also Case owned
The SBA also designates a Shibaura part.. which these smaller fords were based off
Wouldn't let him work on any of my equipment.
The good news is id never work on your equipment either
@@DannysCam Great answer....wish you lived near me. I'd gladly let you work on mine. Tough to find anyone anymore to work on these older models.
Can't seem to find this seal for a Ford Tractor, but I found one with same item number for New Holland Tractor. Will this work?
Should ford owned nh
@@DannysCam Thank you!

I've got 17 10 where can I order a lift kit?
Try Amazon first but also try newholland website ford tractors are now newholland basicly
WTF was that I just watched
What a bucther
My thoughts exactly
Don’t trust that flapper, put can over it and wire it down
Good idea I want to use her I'm amazing a good box grader or plow cost more then I paid for the tractor
Don't use force, use a bigger hammer.
That's why my ex wife left me

You know mines acting like that to I might change fluid someone said there's a screen that gets plugged up
With respect you do not seem to have much affinity with machinery. Not sure what I have seen here
Haha ok
