I pestered my parents as wee nipper for this for a Christmas present back in the 1970s. The typewriter was balsa wood with plastic letter stamps . Also included jelly to copy a document . I my hazy memory the coded message was the escape route what was then plotted on the map.
@@JulesBurt also included pattern for cloth cap what was part of the escape disguise . I might still have the wooden type writer hidden away somewhere For years and years ive been trying to find reference to Colditz escape kit . It must of had a very limited run. Out of my childhood Christmas present this one stuck in my mind as very different
