There is something about this song that gravitates to my top favorites. The nostalgic feel of that first lost love, rejection, pain, loneliness, drug use all twined up into one. I love this redo. It is perfect.

This is probably my favorite song Matt wrote, but I slightly prefer the raw sound on the BJM recording more. Still rocks regardless.

@@tonywethereld7429 Really? Volta played it almost exactly the same except a bit slower. Own a song is covered the covering band should make a version that is it's own. Both of Matt's versions are the bestest IMJO.
One of the few instances in Psychedelic/Stoner rock where it actually sounds better than the original.

Perfect video for this song I like the original recording better Imo but this re-recording is still just as good. I have my guitar tuned half step with the Capo on the first fret and I play and sing along as if I was there when they recorded it. Favorite Matt Hollywood. Beautifully written and composed.
