That's looking good! I used to not be a fan of painting equipment but then I bought a Prentice loader once that had been used near the ocean and it was brown all over with surface rust and I spent 3 days prepping and painting it and when I got done it looked like a brand new one and I still own it and it looks great still and I painted it about 12 years ago.
Hey thanks, yeah they are really doing a great job. You're right, the secret to a good paint job is all in the prep. Course that's where all the work is too right? We've got a couple more videos to put out, it's really taking shape. Might come together this month but I'm not holding my breath. Have a good 4th!
Copy that. We've got a big block in a big unit that should be a good place to get me calmed down and the machines dialed in! Stay tuned. Thanks for the interest, be safe.
Never seen an excavator mods like this. So its going to have a winch line over the top like a yarder man thats cool. I could use that. Who needs a winch Cat when you have a winchcavator. I can't wait to see this thing tugging some monster logs. I'm sure you are chomping at the bit with them $$$ flying away. Super cool this should be on all excavators in the northwest. I just subed this channel i'm hooked and 2 thumbs up for the last of the real men. Hip Hip hooraaa for the working men of the logging industry. No soft hands and pink on this channel luv it. I always wanted to find a logger bar just to fight some cool logger bro's. Them tough as nail basterds I would get my ass kicked than buy them a beer after and than drink all night with them and i dont drink :) If you think ur tough ur not as tough as a logger. P.S I'm an Alaskan gold miner, operator ,equipment mech, welder,/fixall guy and i dont find many channels worth my time this will be 1. good show can't wait for more and may you keep her greasy side down.
Copy that! Your job description sounds like a logger, you have to be able to do most everything to be any good right? I am looking forward to getting going, summit is doing their best but supply chain issues have stretched the process out a bit. It will be a bit of learning curve to get over so part of the reason I am looking forward to getting going on it is so I don't have to think about how I will work it anymore! Sorry it's taken me a bit to get back to you, it's summer and the hours are long and the wifi service is spotty! Be safe out there man.
@@bearbait2221 Well being an old guy I'm thinking a carton of Depenz and a couple changes of pants just to be on the safe side! Seriously though, I'm kinda nerved up about it but from what I've heard once you feel the control it feels really good. And from the years of freestyling on steep ground, especially in the winter when it's slick, I'm really looking forward to the giant pumpkin having my back. Those hundred-thousand-pound sleigh rides are no fun! Thanks for the interest man.
Yard-cavator winch-cavator whats she called? line machine thats lame sounds like line bore machine. How about the Ripper or Ripps-cavator or yanks-cavator,, tugs-cavator any thing but line machine :0
Oh man, that makes me laugh! But yeah, Line Machine is what it is. Not sure if you are tracking the concept, it's for tethering the Buncher. Summit, and other manufactures are offering yarder and yoder conversions for yarding logs, but this machine will be tethering only. Thanks for the interest, there will be more to come! Be safe.
