"Hey there everybody, welcome to my channel My two cents media this is my two cents worth, and I'm excited to have you with in this video i am talking on My set of Japanese Mess tin cooking kits. We will be making 1/2 cup of rice with a propane backpack stove. Show you how easy it’s to cook rice in less than 25-30 minutes. Will be eating my rice with S&B Japanese curry with vegetables(Extra Hot). Stay tuned!"
To cook 1/2 cup of rice using a Japanese mess tin kit, you can follow these general instructions:
    Ingredients:
    - 1/2(half) cup of rice
    - 1 cup of water(8oz)
    Instructions:
    1. Rinse the Rice: Place the 1/2 cup of rice in a bowl and rinse it under cold water until the water runs clear. This helps remove excess starch and improves the texture/taste of the rice.
    2. Add Water: Place the rinsed rice in the pot of your Japanese mess tin kit. Add 1 cup of water to the mess tin.
    3. After adding the water let the rice soak for at least for 45-60 minutes before cooking on the stove.
    4. Heat the Pot: Place the pot over a heat source, such as a campfire, portable stove, or other heat source you have available. Make sure the heat is set to medium-high.
    5. Bring to a Boil: Allow the rice and water to come to a boil. Keep an eye on it.
    6. Simmer: Once you place the mess tin over the stove. Let the rice simmer for about 20-23 minutes, or until the water has been absorbed, and the rice is tender.
    7. Remove from Heat: Once it’s past 23 minutes, remove it from the heat source.
    8. Rest: Let the rice sit, covered, for an additional 15-20 minutes. This resting period allows the rice to finish steaming and become fluffy. Complete the cooking process.
    9. Fluff and Serve: After the resting period, remove the lid and fluff the rice with a fork or chopsticks. Your 1/2 cup of rice is now ready to be served.
