Can you make a video explaining how to setup two servos for a tilt-rotor H-configuration quadcopter? Where the forward/back input commands are channeled to the servos as well as the motors?
This is what I was just looking for. Thanks. I use the exact same receiver as you. I tried the R9 SX, But I think the Pixhawk 4 may have problems with Access protocol.
Great video. Instead of using RC control, how to control the servo motor using the autopilot? for example, using the waypoint position to control the servo motor?
Hello, everybody. I want to connect an MG996R servo to the Pixhawk 2.4.8 autopilot without interference from the remote control, to achieve continuous angular movement of 10 degrees right and 10 degrees left. I have powered the servo from the BEC of the ESC, and the PWM signal is sent from AUX1. I am able to move the servo through Mission Planner using the Servo Output tab by adjusting the SERVOn_MAX, SERVOn_MIN, or SERVOn_TRIM values, but I cannot achieve continuous movement. Is using a Lua script the only solution?
Wow that amazing, but i have an issue that have notification is :" can't to update i/o firmware" when i loaded firmware from qgc but many time before i can loaded firmware normally an also control the brushless motor but now i can't. Hope you can give me some advice. Thanks a lot
I have followed all the steps as shown on the video ... i am unabel to do the last step in which the safety switch is used to assign 6:42 . In my case . If i press the switch . Nothing seems to happen.
I just want a camera on a motorized gimbal. I see the servo link, thanks. but the actual gimbal and camera, I'm at a loss as to where or what to buy. some of your links are broken. I hope you or someone can give me a hand.
Hi, how can I connect pixhawk 4 with Dshot and servo via pm07? (The drone should be autonomous and this time I have very little time to solve it, I will enter the competition)
Hi Alex, How do I control a servo if my airframe type doesn't have aux channels mapped? I am using Coaxial Octacopter. What is the logic with the safety switch? I have selected the other airframe also (Octacopter X) which has aux outputs but then also it didn't work. I am using Flysky FSi6 with 10 channel receiver. Please guide.
Hi Alex, I need your advise Please!! on: I am trying to use AUX1 to turn on a servo with PWM input, and it worked fine by assigning a specific channel on RC, but now when I am trying to send similar (PWM) commands to that port from ODroid connected by Mavlink(UART) protocol, I am clueless how to access that channel or where to edit? I did check MAV_CMD_DO_SET_SERVO and /mavros/target_acutator_control But how to refer to specific AUX1; I read (RC1-8 are for MAIN; RC9-14 are for AUX) Can I directly send PWM values to that specific RC9 2000us(high) 1500us(nuteral) 1000us(Low) as I set in Qgroundcontrol? can I override/Rc/out? I am using Hex rotor Xconfig, PX4, Qgroundcontrol, Odroid..
Thank you very much. It was a great video. Can I control more than the 3 AUX channels that are on the PM07 without using the RX channels? Since I would like to control more servos, I need more channels. But I don't want to use more RX devices. Is this possible? Is there any kind of hub extension to the Pixhawk for it?
Thank you very much Alex for your vidéos ! I am currently working on a design for an airship with two side propellers and one propeller at the rear of the vehicle. I am using a Pixhawk 2.4.8 as my control board and programming it on QGroundControl My problem is that when I connect my ESCs or servos to the main outputs of the Pixhawk, I can’t associate them with a channel of the radio control. I have to connect the motors to the auxiliary outputs and go to “settings” on QGroundControl and type RC_MAP_AUX* to associate an auxiliary output to a channel of the radio control. Have you got an idea to resolve this problem please ?
Yes! Checkout the blue text box on this page: docs.px4.io/v1.9.0/en/flight_controller/pixhawk4.html#voltage-ratings. These rails can be powered with 0-36V, just remember that this rail doesn't power the actual flight controller so you still need some kind of power management board.
Thanks for the great video! I was wondering if it is possible to have multiple servos map to a single MAIN servo in Qgroundcontrol? I want to build an experimental aircraft for research purposes.
@@AlexFache first of all thanks for the video and I wanted to control one extra dc motor with pwm to control my spray of pesticides. Would you be able to share something and I have already sent you connection request on LinkedIn. Would you please accept it.
Thanks so much, this is SUPER helpful!!! Can’t wait for the next video!
Thank you so much, great video. Looking forward to the next one.

Amazing please keep sharing your knowledge with us!
Your videos are awesome. Can you make videos about pixhawk 2.4.8?(fixed wing plane)

What about if I have main 3 an ESC and main 2 and 4 with servos. How I have to connect I/O and FMU?

Great videos! 👍🏼
you are great Sir
Great job. Thanks

Great one! Thanks :)
Do you know how to do it in arducopter & Mission-Planner instead of QGroundControl?

Can i use this playlist for my pixhawk 2.4.8 fc
anybody answer this as soon as possible
can you give me information How to Control Servo Motor Using cube pilot orange?

I am building an hexcopter using pixhawk 4 how many servos can i connect beside the 6 motors ?
Thanks! From what I see there are 3 outputs available. Checkout docs.px4.io/master/en/airframes/airframe_reference.html#hexarotor
can we use big servo like MG996R?
Thanks for the video. Would it be possible to power 6V-7.4V servos using the same setup, but with a 6V-7.4V BEC?

@@AlexFache Thanks for the confirmation! Im doing a uni project involving an EDF rocket with servo flaps that are controlled by a pixhawk so it helps
Hi Alex, great video! How do control a servo if my airframe type doesn't have aux channels mapped?
Which airframe are you using? Some of them have the MAIN and AUX channels reversed.
@@AlexFache i am using a coaxial octo. There is no pwm channels mapped for this airframe type

I have not tried this in QGroundControl but what you could always do is use a y-splitter cable to feed the same main signal to multiple servo motors.

What is the nuber of serbo motors can i connect? If i want to add robbotic arm made up of 4 to 5 servos can i ?
It'll depend on the airframe you are using. Checkout this page to find your airframe: docs.px4.io/master/en/airframes/airframe_reference.html
Can be use 8 motor?
Cw and ccw
The music in the background is killing me.
