But also I think he just attracts those kind of people in the first place, because of who he is and how much those kind of people gravitate to his sensibility and then want to work for/with him. Late Night had such a great charm about it. I miss those days. I had just graduated high school around the time that this aired. It's pretty surreal watching these clips. It takes me right back to that time.

I always wanted to drum half as good as max! hell, even a quarter! I would study max's moves every night on tv and run to my room and try and do what i saw him do, If i could even remember what it was, by the time i made it to my room! Never did sound anywhere near what i heard on Conan. I do play a 5 piece, but no excuses!
