  • On this episode of You , Me and Sicily we take you you Melilli in the Province of Siracusa. Among the most important buildings are the mother church dedicated to Saint Nicola, the municipal building and the church of Saint Sebastian. There is even a church dedicated to Saint Sebastian in Middletown, Connecticut built by all the migrants from Melilli. But many others settled all over the world.
We also visit the public space and meet a nice volunteer working on keeping the statue of Padre Pio clean and good condition.
Also we take you to the industrial zone and give you a bit of history and how it affected the area.
