Cool find with the Warhammer 40k but I find the problem with the modern stuff is alot of players nowadays own decent 3D printers and print there own figures. Also pretty heavily mass produced so I just buy space marines and necrons usually. If they are vintage leaded, pick them up all day 😂
Never thought about players 3D printing them these days! That's mad, but makes sense... I'm always looking out for the older stuff, especially the metal pieces. But I've never been offered such a large haul before so felt it was worth a go! 💸
Electronics is the items i put to one side il list that another day (that good old saying)😚 I couldn't of done that deal only because i don't drive , If my bro had the car then there it would be possible , Nice deal on the Warhammer, Great vid guys .💚 My favourite pick up was Mountain Equipment Hooded jacket last week £3
Electronics are always a nuisance! But they can make good money so we still buy them 🤷🏻♂️😂 Nice pick up with the jacket for £3 👍🏻 Glad you enjoyed the video dude 💚
@@GlobalThrifters Really nice vid always been a big fan of yours Remmy Emily's channel . I came away from last midweek boot sale with really nice feeling in myself , negotiating more better building more confidence it was nice .💚☺
Thank you! The negotiation definitely gave me an adrenaline rush, was good to make the purchase. Now just need to spend many hours going through it all! 💸
Definitely worth picking up the warhammer, only downside is the time needed to go through it all. It’ll be worth it when the profit comes in. I recently bought a pair of adidas cops mundials from a car boot for £4 then sold them the same day for £49.99.
I feel we were lucky the first guy who asked didn't stay and I was then happy to wait until he had it all out and ready to discuss. It's a first for us to pick up such a haul from over there. The weather wasn't great so some families had gone inside but you're right, it's usually dealers selling indoors. Thanks for watching ✌🏻💸
Thanks Sean! I think it was worth laying out the money up front, the seller had a lump sum up to take home plus we have plenty of stock to get stuck into. Shed update coming soon! 💪🏻💸
Hi Jack. Great video, love how you negotiate. Can I ask, do you put international shipping with GSP on all your items ? A video of shipping abroad would be really useful (an idiots guide!) as I'm a bit unsure of how it works. Many thanks
Hey Lesel, glad you enjoyed the video! We used to send our international items ourselves using Royal Mail, but have since changed over to GSP on them all. GSP is really easy and simple. Just add it to all your listings and the UK postage price you would have on anyway, is what you receive to send it to the eBay depot. They then handle all the rest and the buyer would have already been quoted an international shipping cost from eBay before they purchase. Honestly, it involves no extra work and you could have more sales! Best of luck 🙏🏻💸
We haven't yet. I have it all stacked yo ready to tackle... Just keep getting distracted by other things! 😂 I'll do include an update in a video once all sorted through. Thanks for watching!
You basically said can you sell them less because their smaller, well as we all know that smaller doesnt mean less valuable so knocking him down was just tight!
The kid was asking for 50p for the smaller ones and £1 for the large ones. He was given £2 for 3 small ones so technically he was given an extra 50p. If you want to class the Lego one as large one then he still got the money he wanted for them.
@@STJW123 i definitely thought the lego was a large one- knowing that it could sell it for £25 and trying to haggle with an 8 year old who hasnt got a clue seems mean. Maybe i just have a conscience, i would have chucked him £5 for the lot.
Agree totally these people make me sick. On the figures the vendor put out 350, if your a serious buyer 350 is most. Then this guy low balled him typical of a amateur 200 is insult he then said what's your lowest I would of said 700 and told the lad to go away. I would not sold a thing to him.and felt all the better for it. I hate these types of buyers
Hi both, love the videos. New to reselling and appreciate the advice you give. After seeing the Warhammer haul, I picked up a bundle of warhammer magazines with the Sacrosant extract. Sealed, is there any value in these?
Thanks Clive! Glad you're enjoying the videos. Never picked up Warhammer magazines on their own but I'm sure there is some value in them. Is it the Mortal Realms? Either way, I'd check solds on eBay and if worth selling singularly do that otherwise bundle them up! Best of luck 💸
@@GlobalThrifters cheers luckily I only paid £10 for the lot and the seller threw in the camera bag they were in. Sold the bag on market place for £15 today. Think the mags are selling on ebay for about £3.99 each so.might make a couple of quid. Keep up the good work. Thanks for the reply.
warhammer deffo best pick up. Yes, absolute headache but you should get at least £1000 back (hard to say obviously). I found that only certain figures/bundles move quick others take time but overall was worth it. Im not an expert either but probably would have taken for even £300 :)
I think £300+ I would have maybe thought about it a little longer and looked in a few more boxes, but I don't think I would have passed on it. Hopefully the hours involved to organise and list will be worth it 🤞🏻💸
@@GlobalThrifters same. Would have gone through some boxes and checked condition and comps but very well done :) will be worth it. Larger ones on their own should fetch decent money.
Thanks! A lot of work to get it all listed and sold but it also had a lot of potential! I feel my offer of £200-£250 was reasonable. Happy to still get the deal at £260 💸
I think he was surprised I wanted it all. I don't know enough about Warhammer to be able to just cherry pick the best bits... Plus if I did that, he may then be left with lower value items that may not have sold. So I feel it worked out for the best for both of us by buying it all! 💸
Astonishing warhammer buy, good haggle as I would have paid paid the £350 as that was still mugging him. Just don't read the local papers as that dude will be on suicide watch if he checks ebay. You are easily in the thousand plus range even if you bulk sell on. I am guessing parting out retail is about 4k-5k, you have hundreds of small figures worth £5-15 each just in the boxes. Check ebay solds as I bet you could sell the lot as a collection for 3k without blinking. Well done guys my brother who is a big warhammer collector is jealous
Thanks Sean! I definitely underestimated the quantity when I was buying it. Pleasantly surprised when we got home and opened it all up. Unsure if we'll reach quite the numbers you're mentioning but your brother most likely knows more than I do! Unfortunately 99% plastic and all relatively modern I think. But it'll be interesting to go through and see what we have properly 🤞🏻💸
I understand your view and we've had a couple of comments regarding the x3 plush purchase from the lad and his mum. I honestly feel it wasn't unjust and I wasn't trying to knock him down from £10 to £1 for example. He was asking £0.50 the small and £1 the large so £2 for the three I bought wasn't out of the question. I estimated the value of the Lego Joker at about £10 at the time so from a business perspective I wouldn't have wanted to pay much more. And for the kid, I strongly suspect he was very happy to receive some money, no matter how much, for his unwanted toys. Really appreciate you taking the time to watch the video 🙏🏻💚
