IDK what the consumer laws are in India, but here in the UK or should I say Europe. so long as it's within 14 days (notice). With or without any excuse, the consumer has the right to return any electrical product. And BTW, that goes for speakers, too.
Which tower speakers were you using for testing the avr. Was it polk r600 ?

I got scammed with X4500h went dead in 2.5 years. Parts replacement is costing about 50% of new model... Not buying Denon again!

It's with every AV RECEIVER in India. You won't get any service but you are still promoting AV RECEIVER.
Sony has very good home theatre systems and has better service.
Please check if u used right speaker ohm impedance also stabiliser is must in india

The US version has Pre Outs for connecting to a separate Power Amp. So in case you plan to provide more power to front Left & Right speakers, then it helps!

Hope they will clear the issue by reaching this videos to many. By the way x1700h will cost around 50 to 60k. But x1800h will cost you more. Then how can justify the specs?
Also can you pls. advice on where to buy the denon Avr, as denon does not have show room. Is it ok to buy from Amazon? People complain probucts bought from Amazon doesn't carry warranty.

Hi Sir….iam thinking of upgrading my existing Denon receiver 4200W….iam confused, whether to go with 5200w used or brand new 1800….techwise, which one is superior and future proof for atleast 3-4 years….thanks for your help
Why come down in terms of power and channel? Go for X-4800H which is an ideal replacement and a superior, future proof model. If one step lower, then X-3800H is also not bad choice

Hey Aniket, I think you should check our video on Yamaha vs Denon vs Marantz. Yamaha sound signature is better. But for UI it’s a little okayish
If we compare this with Marantz cinema 70s then which is good in terms of quality output, future proof and value for money.
Depends on the speakers you are connecting, your room size and your viewing distance!
So what is the final thought? Should we go for x1700 or 1800
Go for an upgrade like 4800

X1800H is missing (3) composite video ports...
I got X1800J from amazon for 52k and old receiver was sold for 20k. Decent for my needs.

Itna paise main itna hi milega...Denon always had US version different from rest world. I am surprised you were not aware of it. Infact every electronic gadgets of US are different from restof the world. Iphone China has 2 physical sim cards where as the same Iphone sells single sim card to rest of the world plus the antenna is different in US gadgets. So pls do not blame @denon ❤
I agree and was aware of both the versions. But the mention of what’s not available was missing on website or otherwise. So shocked 😳
Onkyo AVR is good ....There is a chance that the denon receiver will complain soon. But onkyo receiver comes less complants... onkyo receiver will work for four or five years without complant.
AVR is an electronic component and the failure of same is subject to its connection, usage and power conditions.

Denon has killed the best brands like pioneer and onkyo but got reborn from ashes and my pioneer LX 303 is still working like new even after 3 years.

Tanmay, if the setup menu, was more navigable, for the X1800, I'd plum for that! Because setting an AVR to my personal tastes, is often a can of worms

Mera pehla sawal yah hai Same AVR, online aur offline ke price mein itna difference kyon hai?
Kyunki usmein sirf warranty hi nahin milta isliye itna difference hai!! but mujhe pata chala yah pura sach nahin hai kyunki usmein quality ka difference rahata hai. Aur online review section mein bhi dekha, 3 mahine 4 mahine ke bad AVR kam karna band ho jata hai.
Kya yah sach hai, pore quality & cheap material use Kiya hai isliye itna price ka difference hai online and offline mein? Please detail mein bataiye.
Dusra aur aakhri sawal, budget mein proper 7.2 challenge speaker suggest kijiye under 60 to 100k. Yamaha NS-P41 & TAGA HARMONY chhodkar.

in online most probably you can get gray market material that means not genuine from denon. It can be refurbished or copy, hence the denon doenst cover warranty for online purchase.

You're saying that there is no difference in the back panel... But there are at least 4 differences in connectors!
One is USB, and others are missing Analog video outs. So not much difference

Wow, I notice you got the Polk R600, I didn't know you could run 4 Ohm with the 1800H. If you had the whole reserve series, which are all 4 ohm, could you run a 5.2.2 set up?
That’s the only one! And used Denon only for this video, otherwise we got Onkyo RZ-50 in this room!

x1700h vs s970h? please suggest
X-1800H will be wiser to compare as it's now available in India. In comparison to S-970H, the only advantage of the latter is Dual HDMI Output port. If that's not required, stick to X series

Similarly is there with the Onkyo LX-505 wherein the number of pre-outs in the EU and US are different. But no change in the performance whatsoever.
But the good thing is that they kept the new model at the same price as the older one. Unlike other brands who shamelessly increase the price of new models where the only difference in the new version is the model name. For example, look at the Denon X2800H, hardly you can point out a major difference.
