Well I was looking for a strictly sew down with no spray or gel. My very first lace wig was sewn by this woman in Tampa who killed it. She was baddd!! No lifting or nothing. No glue, no gel, nobody even used spray back then lol... I wish I could find her.
Same, saw the title and then got frustrated. It's like there isn't really a true glueless wig out there anymore that you can throw on it looks like

This is the first video that I felt explained things in a simple way without dragging it out. Btw, Can you do another video about sewing down a wig; this time with 360 lace human hair wig. I don't do the stocking cat method because it's hot and I'm gonna be swimming. I want to know how to make the back not look fake, when I wear my wig in a high sleek ponytail. My wigs always slide back when I'm on vacation, the back of wig edges curls up a little when I pull it to a ponytail.

I agree, I have a really bad sweat issue, no matter what glue I use how many layers, my frontal comes off the next day, I just ordered a wig hopefully sewing it down keeps it on for a whiel

I like this idea! Now instead of looking for the threads to cut when removing, could you instead just remove the bald cap method thereby removing the whole wig or would that damage my own hair?

Did you braids straight back if so about how many braids?
For me I did like 8 with extensions to make it last longer, the side I did it very small. Make it easy to sew my wig down

Straight backs. Or you can smooth your hair back and do two braids. As long as the top is a flat foundation.
How do you secure the back in a unit without a comb in the back (no glue)? I do not like combs so I had my unit made without them. Thanks!

Tayler Edmond cut the threads out. It won’t damage the lace unless it is an HD thin lace.

Hey sis, just wanted to know how long something like this lasts.
It last me two weeks sometimes 3 weeks, I took it out wash my braids and moisturize my scalp and then put in the week again. Result of this my hair grow like crazy. Also I keep my braid for two months.
It can last a long time, but if u have a very dry scalp like me..i suggest leave the back open so u can get under there and moisturize your scalp once or twice a week .i normally wash and condition every two weeks and oil twice a week to keep my hair from breaking off from dryness

As long as you can stand it. I personally don’t keep hairstyles in long, but this method can last weeks/months.

I took all of them out except for the back one, for extra support.

Sewing are permanent it’s a surgical procedure. You keep the sewing in forever.

I wouldn’t go over a month. Just so you can maintain your own hair underneath. You can definitely shower/sleep with it, but if you get it wet, you HAVE TO dry the wig and your own hair completely.

How long do you keep the wig sewn down at a time?
I personally only keep mine in for the weekend or however long I go on vacation. The longest I’ve had it sewn in is about two weeks. It can last way longer though, I promise 😆 I just don’t like keeping hairstyles for too long.

Yes that’s exactly what I get done to mines
How do you take it down without cutting the lace
Find all the loose threading first, and cut them. That way you can pull the rest of the threading through/out, instead of cutting.
