- Hey Luvs!! It's Shay Amour here and today's video I thought I would do a video showing how to sew in your lace closure wig. This is a tutorial where I will be showing how to sew down a lace closure wig with no leave out.
Make sure you check out my previous video on how to make your lace closure look like a frontal.The tutorial will include bleaching knots on a lace closure, creating baby hairs, customizing the hairline, and tinting the lace. I did make a lace closure wig using HJ Weave Beauty Hair.

I love how quick this method is in comparison to braiding your whole head. ❤️👏🏽 I’m a lazy natural and the quicker the better. Will definitely be trying out this method.

I will be tryin this method. I’m new to wigs but it’s a lot easier for me so I can get into doing my own hair. And I like this. Idk if my wig has the wefts like yours tho so I’ll see but if so I’ll do the sewing in the back as well as the perimeter and see how it turns out. Tfs.

Most people forget the most crucial part, this 6:18. Thats what got me to go pick a unit, needle and thread. That is secure. Idk what Im doing wrong but the gels and glues just aren't working for me. Everyone says "Oh you can wear a wig with this gel for 2 or 3 weeks" Yeah no. I sneeze to hard and my ish try to lift lmao. Not to mention my edges been trying to ghost me. Nah, I just got those bad boys back

How do I wash my hair underneath the wig if Im keeping it for 3 months ?
What is the easiest method to take it out ? Do you use a thread cutter? I don’t want to end up actually cutting a whole in my wig trying to remove thread.
I usually use a seam ripper, which you can get at a fabric store.

I do a lot of physical activities, gym etc and find that when I sweat the actual closure starts sliding back. Does this method prevent that?
jennyjaiy Oh ok. Yes it should. Especially if you sew around the closure.

Ney D. Whenever you want to take it down. You find where the thread is and cut. The rest of the thread will unravel.
How long can a sewed down wig last before you should take it off??
P. Madu Depends on when you wash your real hair. I usually wear for 1-2 weeks
