Yeah my garbage day the driver went behind the blade with the truck running I was a little worried lol It was a heil front loader and he put the forks down I wonder if that has something to do with the blade. Still would have been great to shut it off too
Man you must be nuts to go behind the blade while the truck is running... Be smart about it driver you don't have enough time to get out of there if that blade returns. 😢
The front loaders I work on have sensors if the packer is even 6 inches out and not all the way back it will not let you lift the forks to a full dump it will only lift to just about even with the cab some drivers hate it because they are sensors and they can brake but as a mechanic I like them because I would rather swap a sensor then having to run all new hydraulics and or cylinders due to a full dumpster being dropped behind the packer great videos bud
You DEFINITELY made a very dumb mistake by going in behind the packer blade , you NEVER open that door and go in there without doing the LOCKOUT TAGOUT....shut the truck down take the keys out of the cab and put a LOTO lock and warning tag on the PTO so nobody can operate that vehicle while you are in behind the blade.
Looked like that was way more than one days of operation worth of junk behind the blade. Y’all don’t have to clean behind the blade daily or while your at the dump?
Big mistake never go behind the blade while truck running
Was just about to comment the same thing.
