Oh Liz,you got very expensive but gorgeous succulents 🥰 How I wish I can convince myself to spend that much🥰 My respect and admiration to you is unmeasurable 😮
Being an ex-smoker, I buy succulents as if I'm still buying cigarettes. This way, I don't feel deprived of anything and stay healthy. Plus, I get to have all these beauties to admire and look after. They make me want to live longer. Thanks for watching. 🥰
I'm in love with the Tequila Sunrise, Ladies Choice & Aphrodite. Gorgeous colors. I need to add those to my wish list. Since moving to Mexico, I miss Goldilocks , Ensaymadas and Mamon. I need to check their website to see if they deliver International. 😋 Baby P is so adorable, I'm so happy he is back to his old self. Blessing's to You, Hubby & Baby P. Have a wonderful week! 🥰
There's a Filipino bakery here in Sydney and we get the supply once a week into Canberra (330km away from Sydney). I just googled up Filipino grocery store in Mexico & Texas. Probably closer to you than having it sent all the way from PI. Good luck. You're making me hungry with your comment. 😂 Last comment for the day and I'm now off to have Chicken Adobo. 🥰
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK Hi Liz, I know I made myself hungry too! We live in the Baja California area. After I commented to you about your succulent beauties. I Googled Goldilocks LOL 😆. We have a PO Box in the States, because the area we live in has no mail service. I ordered a box of the Mamon-Ensay classic pair. 😋. Yum, I haven't made chicken adobo in a long time. I prefer the thighs, rather than the drum sticks, with jasmine rice. Have a beautiful blessed day! 🥰
The Hoshikage is gorgeous. Actually caused palpitations. The crests are looking so beautiful. Its such a joy to see all these beautiful beings. Thanku for sharing. Baby pedro immediately wanted a bite from your snack. Much love to him.
I just love all your different succulents. When I try to see if the nursery I use they don’t have it. I keep trying. I am new at all your plants. Hope hubby is doing well?
Thanks very much. He's off fishing for the weekend. Most of the new cultivars can be challenging to find but eventually, they'll become more common. I have a wish list I keep. I remember hearing/seeing my first Madiba and took a couple of months to find one for sale and it cost a fortune. I waited and now they have become cheap and common.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK My husband loves fishing too. I will have to start a list. I have about 14 right now. I live In Pennsylvania, USA You do have a lot of succulents. I only water once a month, we are in winter and you mention when you see a floppy, shriveled leaves. Thank you for replying
Hello po mamita how are you po? hope you are filling well 😘😍❤❤❤ Wow i love suculents and my mommy always po kami watching u blogs.. keep safe always po. god bless
Good day Ma'am lizk first to comment 😊😊😊.. di po ako magsasayqng manonood NG vlog nyo kasi d po nkakasawa ang mga succulents nyo... nakaka inggit ang mga succulents nyo..
They're native to Europe. They are also called houseleek because in the old days, people plant them on the roof to ward off lightning, but I think it's more for insulation from the cold.
The original strain is very hardy even up to -20°C/-4°F, but the new cultivars can be a little bit of divas. They can handle frost to a certain degree but some I believe need to be protected from snow.
I did place some fallen leaves to the side, I just noticed they have roots just coming out. Do I need to mist these at any time or just let them sit?? Thank you for your help with my other questions from your videos
Your Hoshikage is super beautiful! I wish you were on Instagram Liz, I started a small succulent page to share my learnings and plants along the way. And let me tell you I have picked up loads of lessons from YOU! 😍 THANK YOU
I have just received my first Magic Red. I'm waiting for it to grow at the moment to see the color change and will eventually do a video about it. Thanks for watching.
Mam liz ! I have a news on my aeoneom (hen) I accidentally plucked a leave it dried and now has roots please tell will it propogate i will post a video of that leaf tomorrow pls answer i dont want my baby succulent to die.
Some Aeonium do grow from leaves but a lot of them will dry up before the pup grow. Best to take cuttings from Aeonium for propagation, after summer is over.
Hi Liz I bought rooted succulents, let it sit overnight before planting. How long will it take for roots and why do they look like they are opening up and leaves/peddles seems softening. I’m worried I’ve only started this after watching ur channel and fell in love. Pls welp
If you bought plants online or bare rooted (no soil), you only need to soak it from a couple of hours to overnight. If left too long to soak, they can get leggy after a few days and if leaves become translucent, that means they are rotting and should be taken off the water and planted in soil immediately. Also, don't exposed them to direct sunlight or they will burn. Keep them in bright but protected area after potting.
Omg, every single specimen you have is beautiful!
I found only 1 single video on UA-cam which tells us how to breed succulents , Massive Respect

That's his pretend bite. He doesn't like anything sweet but would pretend to bite it to please me. He had a good chunk of white bread afterwards.

Thank you for your help with my other questions from your videos
If they're on the side of the pot, water the plant naturally as if they're not there. Misting only them(fallen leaves) might cause them to rot.
Thanks soo much mam
Most welcome 😊

Mam what is the name of this red string of pearls like plant which is shown with the echeveria pink edge in the start of the vlog
Othonna Capensis 'Ruby Necklace.' Thanks for watching. 🥰
Why mine didn't work out
Could be a few factors. Soil mix, watering, position just to name a few.
Oh my Gosh! I sing the same to my astroloba! You´re such a bad influence! In fact is an astrolista, but who cares...
