What he is trying to show you is that one of the cords gets stuck between the pully and the metal rod the pully is riding on. These are the tiny two rollers each end. Mine were gray and sat on small metal pins. Under the large pully that is the second thing that is unclipped. * Remove the small metal spring clip, pull out the long square rod. * Un-snap the white satin cord roller(s). * Look for where you don't see 3 cords on the gray rollers - that will be what's binding the blinds. * Pull hard on the counter balance to get some slack (recommend a second set of hands). There's quite a bit of tension from the mechanism. * Use tweezers/plyers to pull the thin pull cord out from being stuck. * Slowly release the cord by the counter balance and make sure the cord stays in the gray pully track. * Snap all the large cord pullies back in, cord rail back through, metal spring clip back on. You can tell if it's working by lifting the blind on and off the table/floor/surface. If you hear it wind back up, & see it stay, you know you've done it correctly and can reinstall. I wanted to add a photo but looks like I can't. I just fixed 2. So happy!
I'm not 100% sure but I think you just fix what was wrong with my blinds too 🤣🤣🤣 I took them down to replace some slats that my son decided to completely take off the end of 10 slats when he started walking. As soon as I was almost done and got them shifted around I noticed the three main strings that run down the left and right sides and the middle disappeared when I laid it down to the floor and I didn't hear them so I had to take the whole thing apart and then had to figure out what I was supposed to do with the springs and how to lol.
@@maddiejewel489 I don't even remember writing this post let alone how long ago it was and yet mine went from bordering on several hundreds of attempts to get the springs realigned and put in place and yet they kept on doing right as I was literally two turns away from being done and then slap d'accord spindles in place and the lock the top in place and then it would be done as soon as I got two turns away the Springs would like uncoil themselves around my hand and like bounce over my head as if they were under too much pressure and had to release so it's literally been in pieces and I do mean pieces since then and I literally haven't even looked at it I almost lost all the pieces cuz my son discovered he could put chairs next to the counter and climb up on them to get on the counter luckily I heard the springs bounce around when they fell so I was able to catch him before he lost any of the pieces let alone all of them for good it's literally in pieces on top of my microwave and the actual slats and blinds are on my counter on the far back corner with the tilt roller metal rod sitting on top of them and the worst part is my son somehow managed to find and get a hold of and hide the pieces of the rod that connects to the Tilt Rod that you're supposed to turn that turns the blinds and it's literally now in like five pieces and I don't know where to get a replacement Rod at FML roflmao
disagree. Almost every video is a huge intro of talking with lots of talking throughout and its not only distracting its usually inane. If you cant figure it out from watching, then find another video that talks.
Have you ever stop to think for a second maybe they cannot speak? Or maybe they are deaf… Maybe they don’t want their voice out there for privacy reasons.
I will admit it does look like he just shoveled the mechanics around for a bit their , but you can see what he’s done , identify where the root of the problem is by moving the bar to the left and right on each side, you will notice which one doesn’t move how it’s supposed to, then you take the mechanism off, fix the string ( if you can clearly see that’s what’s wrong) , and then assemble it back together.
I’ve been battling very similar blinds for 3 days off and on because there is no info on the copper looking coil at the top. These appear to. E quite similar. Thank you for showing a couple things I can try. Much appreciated
Thank You -Thank You! I watched the video and clicked away, No verbal instruction? Then I came back and watched again (the closeup really helped). I have the exact same blinds but my problem was in the second set of rollers at the other end. I followed your steps and my blinds are working fine now. Some people just don't want to speak(for whatever reason). In that case a few more captions would be helpful. Thanks!
Holy shit, thank-you! That actually worked! I would have loved commentary, too - but as I watched a couple of times, I realized I could sort of tell what you were examining. I then looked at my own blinds, and realized I could see a broken plastic roller in the exact same place on each of my blinds. I moved the "spare" plastic roller into place where the broken one sat, and presto - fixed! Now to figure out where to get metal roller pieces! Thanks, man. Ya did good.
why dont you put the binds on a level surface so you can use both of your hands? I have no idea what you are doing with out speaking. If you dont want to talk then you need to write more about what you are doing.

This comment allowed me to fix my blinds in 30 seconds. These have been driving me crazy for months, thanks so much!

@@Victoria-mv7ke this is where I’m at! Nothing is together and it’s a mess !

Darn I can’t understand a thing!!!! What’s with the gloves?
Thanx for trying to make a video, but this was very unhelpful. Speak and explain instead have us listen to background noise as you point. No help.

?? Can’t understand without words !!
Wright! We can hear background noise. Speak!!!
This is the most anxiety producing videos about blinds I’ve ever scene. Like would it kill you to idk maybe explain what all that is?
I couldn't figure it out either, but with a little effort and closely watching the video, mine are now staying up. Thank YOU for posting this.

INSANE that this is the only video on this issue? What the fuck man
Very hard to see what you are doing. White on white makes for poor contrast.
Could you at least add some subtitles or words explaining in the video description? It’s very hard to understand mime language 😂
Solved my issue! Thanks
Thanks for your video. Really only one video about this blinds
Have no clue what you just did. You have to explain what you are doing
It helped! Thank you so much 😊
Useless if you don't explain
Okay, I actually go to videos to hear and see the solution. Very poor execution.
What’s with the gloves
Thanks!
At least they’re wearing gloves ✅

Contrast is so poor I couldn't see what you were doing at all. I wish you'd had a dark blind so I could see.
Thanks very much, very helpful!
Not sure why you could not speak directions....we heard every other noise in your home.
Must be Chinese
This video is going to make someone in themselves one day lol. It's probably the most useless thing I've ever seen
These cordless things are a racket.
Throw the whole video away
Say something!!!!!!!
Talk we can't understand no finger movement
Should have come closer with the camera.
WTF? Speak Up !
Please ask somebody who can speak to explain what you are doing. You wasted your and our time. Anyway thank you for trying to help.
Way to film in portrait
This is why the channel only has 9 subscribers. Very unhelpful and annoying. Need to at least explain a little bit of what your doing.
Video is sooooo worthless,,,could have been good easily !
You should have been talking, not much good to me unless you were also explaining what your were doing
THIS VID IS FOR.....DEAF MUTES.
This isn't very good. Why don't you explain the issue
How about talking and explaining the steps 🙄
Worthless
Can't really tell what you Are doing with you speaking sorry
frustrating BS, please remove and do us all a favor!
I'm sorry, but video is completely uselss.
Not helpful without words.
Not good a sign language.......redo video and ad VERBAL explanations as you go.
