- Rottnest Island, or Wadejmup, is an internationally known tourism destination in Western Australia. What many people don't know is that it was once a prison island where around 370 Aborginal prisoners died. But it's significance to Noongar people dates back to the beginning of time.
What an outstanding Young man. No divisive agenda or malice.
Just quietly going about the buisness of educating people on the past so we can all acknowledge it and move forward together as an Australian Community. The more we can understand and appreciate each other, the brighter the future will be.
I stayed there in the late 80's and had no idea what lay beneath us as we slept. I am in shock to be honest. Well done to that young man for all his hard work.
Jail cells turned into motel rooms, that’s one the last places I would want to sleep
This guy is doing amazing work
That’s it. I’ve been there. It has the most darkest energy. It’s so bad. I can never stay long accept to give my sincere sorrow for the pain they endured. Crap, I could never ever sleep in that place!!!
Full history, beautiful place
Ezra you are amazing!
It use to be a army base as well

Imagine " sleeping on the graves of prisoners"
Christmas Morgan there is no way. I can only take about 5 minutes the sorrow and pain is so overwhelming I literally get sick physically from the heaviness in my chest
Seems like no one wants to know about this
