This is where my love and heart was opened to a band called YellowJackets back in 1987...One of my all time favourite Fusions along with Kirk Whalums “LC’s Back”
I hate it!!!! I absolutely hate it!!! It is nothing like the original version... I feel like this is something that you would play as an opening theme to a tv sitcom as they introduce the actors. The original version demonstrates so much passion, and it's performed with conviction. It's almost as if you can feel the song as you hear it. This is definitely more watered down.
One of my favorite jazz bands of all time! 💟

Ahhhhh Yellowjackets!!!!! Thanks for making 2020 just a little bit better!
I heard this one the radio today. The soundtrack of my early 20s. Much, Love!
Definitely, the best!
Imponente Yellowjackets !!!!
This is a kick ass tune to play to on the drums.
❤️❤️❤️love the Yellowjackets!!!
Okay, if a school band or marching band played it this way.
Wow. What a journey. This is one of my all time favorite Yellow Jackets tunes. Great arrangement and musicianship. Nice going. :)
This is my fave track from what is fast becoming my favourite Yellowjackets album... thank you! :-)
Is this inspired by Everybody Rules the World in any way? It reminds me so much of it, especially 0:25
Nice piece of music. Does anybody know how to get its script for big band ?
I was expecting it to be more upbeat like the original version with Marc Russo on saxophone.

Great tune and arrangement, but I have to say the whole thing sounded a bit wooden. The trumpets' arpeggiated triplets at the beginning didn't work.
Very very nice piece. I’ve always liked it but this time it crashes a system
