It is my feeling that one important factor in making Lovebites the band that they are is that they all seem to be good friends, off stage as well as on. There are a number of short video clips on YT of them hanging out and having fun together. Doing everyday things like meeting up to share time together. There doesn't seem to be any of the ego on display that has damaged so many other good bands in years past. It is also obvious that they must spend many, many hours together working on their music, this level of musicianship only comes with untold hours of practice. One of the best bands I have heard in my 74 years. I feel privileged to be alive to hear them.
Bands like Lovebites come along once or twice in a lifetime. As incredible as they all are Midori & Miyako are just so mesmerizing to watch/hesr play. I have never found a band where their whole catalog is fantastic. They just don't miss

I usually suggest the 'Daughters of the Dawn~Live in Tokyo 2019' version because it is a concert version with a hall full of spectators. The atmosphere of the concert, the emotions of the fans, great energy throughout the concert. It is clear that the ladies themselves are having great fun: they interact well with the audience, Asami conducts the emotions of the audience, Miho sings along, Miyako’s emotions come out many times, which is not often seen (she moves a lot, smiles and also sings along), Midori after performing his guitar solo, he throws a pick to the audience, etc.
They always better in Live version, nothing hide, I suggest you to check Soldier Stand Solitarily, LIVE version, they're amazing, the drummer work hard, thank you sir, give us your best reaction 👍👍
When Midori and Miyako take the catwalk, fasten your seatbelt! The most '70s style American band out currently making music I know of would be Greta Van Fleet. Most think of them as a Led Zeppelin clone. But their more recent songs do have some southern rock elements.
Do yourself a favour and react to the live version of lovebites "Journey to the other side". I doubt that they will ever play this again due to it being special to Miho. Have some tissues handy.
