Mt Everest will always be challenging for the Sherpas because they do 95% of the work. Respect to Apa Sherpa and the Sherpas working on others 8k meters peak.

Without Sherpas there would be no climbing to Mount Everest. These guys risk their lives to make our dreams possible. Such a sweet man God bless, great video well explained and thank you for sharing.

Apa Sherpa has achieved what no man on earth has achieved. Summiting Everest 21 times. I believe this man to be holy and blessed by the Mother Goddess. Apa Sherpa survived an avalanche incident when he was a child and was taken to the Dali Lama after him and his mother had survived it and the Lama himself named him Apa ~ meaning 'Loved by all. The Goddess has allowed 1 man on this earth to summit Everest and 21 is a number of completion going into the number 3. Amazing story, amazing man, amazing role model for many. I support his work and his charity foundation - always. 🙏

Most underrated video on youtube ! i love to watch Everest videos. i love to watch documentaries about sherpa's but apa sherpa is one of a kind ! such a humble guy. he seems very nervous & happy at the same time while talking ! he deserves to be in CNN, BBC, Aljazeera's documentaries.
thanks for your great work. loved it

You can tell be loved his friend, you can see the grief in his eyes and hear it in his voice. Mr Hall truley was blessed to have Apa Sherpa as a friend. Mr Apa if you ever read this you are an inspiration both as a climber and also as human being. My birthday is soon up and i will ask people to donate to your organization.. Stay safe and maybe our roads will cross. Peace be with you.

This makes me hate Everest climbers. Train for it instead of treating these people like slaves who are waiting on you and risking their lives for your arrogance. He’s not choosing to climb Everest to have something to brag about at parties, but rather to feed his children and get them an education.

This is absolutely heartbreaking. These people are literally living for someone else. To put a complete stranger's life in front of your own is an unexplainable, unimaginable admiration. Through recent events regarding Everest, reported on by the mainstream media, my heart is with these beautiful souls who risk everything every single day of their lives. They deserve so much more recognition and I will keep them forever in my thoughts.

These sherpa are amazing. I wish all the western climbers could give the huge amount of money they use for their expedition to local sherpa kids and teenagers instead so they could go to university and pursue their real dream instead of having to work for all these selfish people.

When I have a bad day I think about all the hardships that climbing Sherpa's have to endure and risks they have to take. One day I would like to meet Apa Sherpa in person!

What a brilliant video . Everest summit is claimed by several but that number has been achieved coz of only Sherpas. They r not only skilled but grounded like this talented hero in the video. Lack of education made him a porter to a climber. Rather than spending money on myself to climb Everest i rather donate to the Sherpas... that ll b a greater summit of life than Everest...

so me and my 2 team mates climbed a 2 287m in severe winter conditions, no visibility after 10-15 m, litteraly inside a snowing clouds, my left shoe got ripped with snow inside feels the snow through my socks for straight 5 hours and my mate fall in a 3m drop. it was not the most pleasant experience but sure memorable. i can not imagine the stuff they are going through to start with. we should help all the people living there and support their means of life

yes... lots of respect to the sherpa people over their in the mountain...
life there is not as easy as we have here in kathmandu.....
life risking bussiness(job) for the shake of familys good future is heartbreaking....
and more importantly all of them(some of them i meet on my college ) are very gregarious and humble people.....
shame on our govt. for not caring much for development of those places considering "how much economic growth will those places bring to our country via toursim......

Thx for the wonderful documentary-interiew. Apa Sherpa, thx for all that you do for others...also, as a climber, I have been helped by Sherpa...I also donate to the cause because its the right thing to do. I was not aware of your foundation, but I am going to check it out now. Hopefully you can pick up rock climbing, bouldering or some other forms of fun climbing in Utah, which far less risk that high altitude...you are in a great state for it. Utah has pretty good ice too as you know. Be safe and God bless you, and your family. Frank
