yes, every time Stephen speaks about their chemistry in interviews, his face just lights up. He SHIPS them. Stephen is the #2 Olicity shipper, after Diggle of course.

I just started watching Arrow and love Olicity. Very excited about S3 in general but I started watching at a good time for Olicity, apparently!
#Olicity is the best ship I've sailed through so far regardless them being a couple or not. I'm so happy Felicity gets to be 'the girl' this season. Btw I love Stephen. He's so honest on FB and even in interviews

Absolutely remarkable actors and actresses, but especially the main guy and main girl, no matter the show is over, but their excellent work will stay with us forever, love and miss you my Arrow family.

I don't think it will be puppies and roses for Olicity. They go on a date. That is all. I will keep enjoying their journey until they do get together. I love the journey these two have taken and I am in no hurry to reach the destination as long as the walk keeps getting better.
Felicity and Oliver!!! hell yeah!!! they look good together.....laurel????(she look old for me to be paired with oliver - just my opinion) and enough..enough of laurel this, laurel that... that is why viewers picked up the #olicity fever it is because felicity gives a fresh air to the set, being light, bubbly and funny that opposites to oliver whose always srious and focus so the two characters are balace in a way and look good together... you feel the emotion just by looking at them even with out words...
Oliver is my favourite and he and Felicity are going out a date, that Will be wonderful, because the two of them make the film world beautiful. Stephen state that Felicity Will be the only lady in Oliver's life., but , Oliver is not going to be the only man in Felicity's life and that scares me a little because I dislike the Love triangel thing , I hope the producers don't break our heart s with that.
Fast forward to the Crisis crossovers, and the dc cinematic universe is part of the arrovers multiverse

'iZombie', which is also on the CW. It isn't getting as much recognition as the other 4 since it isn't as well known of a character/story.

Everyone tripping out about how "Olicity" has been confirmed and how Oliver's relationship with Laurel is no more or vice versa have to realize that they're dealing with a comic book character whom which meets MANY women throughout the comic series. They have to give the most important women he's been with each their own arch. For example, his 2-3 episode relationship with Huntress was just a tribute to the run-in he might've had with her in the comic, along with many other women he's had run-ins with. I swear, if they payed tribute to all the women superheroes had in the comics on the shows, they'd basically be filming porn. It's just a relationship, people. Watch the show for the right reasons which would be to see Green Arrow and Arsenal kick some ass while having some action on the side! Lol

Such a shame in this season felicity is a bit weird , SPOILER ALERT , she always had crush on Oliver and suddenly she started loving Ray ? And not Oliver ? I don’t understand , I loved the felicity that loved Oliver so much , SPOILER ALERT AGAIN …..when they thought Oliver died , felicity went and kissed Ray and she didn’t even cry for Oliver or sth , so sad , idk why writers did that
Stephen Amell is wrong, wrong, wrong! According to the DC Comics franchise Oliver Queen and Dinah "Laurel" Lance will end up together in the end. And if Oliver and Felicity do become a thing this or next season then they'll either A) Cause them to break up at some point for whatever reason or B) (which is more likely) They'll kill off Felicity completely. Either way Olicity will die before the series finale. If you check out the video Arrow - Season 3 First-Look you'll actually see a scene with Felicity in bad shape so her death may happen in this season alone.
I think he just meant this season he won't be with laurel (notice he said this year) because they just confirm wildcat (who will be a young guy) as a love interest for Laurel.
According to the DC Comics franchise, Tommy Merlyn becomes the Dark Archer...but in 'Arrow', they killed him off. Also, Laurel's mom is the original Canary in the Comics....but in 'Arrow', Sara is the first Canary. Also, Oliver does not have siblings in the Comics...but in 'Arrow', he has Thea as a sister. Also, Oliver's parents die when he is young in the Comics...but in 'Arrow', both his parents die when he is a man. Also, Roy Harper is Speedy and later becomes Arsenal...but in 'Arrow', Roy is Roy and in Season 3 he is 'Arsenal'. In the Comics, Oliver does not have a team like he does with Diggle and Felicity, but he does have "partners" in a sense with Black Canary and Speedy. Diggle is a completely new character in the DC Universe because 'Arrow' created him. Felicity Smoak has been slightly reimagined in 'Arrow' since her character does not show up much in the DC Comic Universe. And 'Arrow' has taken it's own liberties with what happens in the Comics in many more areas actually. So Laurel does not have to be the one Oliver ends up with for good in 'Arrow' because, as you can see, 'Arrow' has not stayed 100% true to the Comics.
Haven't you been watching the show at all. The creators, writers, etc. do not stick strictly to the DC comic world and which version should they stick to. The one where Arrow doesn't even know Laurel? Come on this show uses the comic as a starting off point, uses some things,and then twists things around making it different. Another version of Green Arrow. It is a great show and if it were the exact copy a comic then...how boring that would be.
Stepha92Nia True they have taken their own spin on it, but Tommy Merlyn is not definitively the Dark Archer from the comics as he is only referred to as Merlyn and no first name is given. Also in the comics there is another speedy name Mia Dearden and Thea's full name is Thea Dearden Queen and her nickname is Speedy meaning she's the one intended to be the show's Speedy. And further more Oliver Queen's family life is not gone into fully and changes from comic to comic, so we can't really say anything in regards to his family.
Yes he is just Merlyn in the older comics but considering the Tommy Merlyn in the reboot of the DC Universe, it's not a far leap to make. I'm fully aware of the other Speedy. But that still doesn't take away from 'Arrow' changing Roy's journey to Arsenal and skipping Speedy. And my mentioning Thea was to show how they changed Oliver's family situation. (But anyways, making Thea Speedy would still deviate from the Comics) In general, Oliver is an only child who is orphaned in the DC Comic Universe.
Trying to negate what I said still doesn't take away from how 'Arrow' does change things from the comics. So Oliver and Laurel being "endgame" may not be how it goes on 'Arrow.' Considering how Oliver cheated on her and sister jumps, and how she was in love with his best friend, I would find it ridiculous for Laurel and Oliver to end up together. But I'm sure they will try again. I hate how Laurel is written/portrayed on 'Arrow'.
