- Hey guys. I grew up eating this, from the school tuck shop to the corner next to my grans, it still taste the same with just a little twist on certain things. Please use your fave sauces, tomato sauce, mustard sauce and so on and so forth 😂😂😂❤️ The only important thing is to toast it and you can substitute everything else. ❤️

❤️❤️❤️
Sisi wami that is so original, excellent version of a kota. Looks scrumptious. Getting caught up in the tasty prep work, I might have also thrown in two fried eggs on top of that amazing patty ( only because I like soft, sunny side up amaqanda ). I would also be interested in seeing you make mealie bread. My father, who was born and brought up on a dairy farm ( early 1900s ) at Donnybrook, ( near Himeville, Bulwer and Underberg ) used to make it. All his 7 sons loved it. Ngiyabonga kakhulu. Lokukudla lokumnandi. Love from America. ( been here 30 years, kade nkokugcina ).
Lalela the way im hungry 😍😭❤

Wooow! This is good. Please share a Dagwood tutorial as well abeg 👏🏼👏🏼
I'm so clumsy with placing ingredients, Because I'll do tomato over a patty and cheese below a source ....so on! Help a sister 😂😂
You got a point many miss, just for pro-bono. Our teath have different functions so like in this instance when laying your ingredients pay attention what you expect of the experience. Just because your everything is there does not mean you maxed the desired taste. It's how you stack them and the chewing. Also prep your mouth about what is about to take place. I let you work on that. Be mindful that all foods contain chemicals whether organic or not they got enzymes you may pair or diversify. But key into all gastronomy is preparations. Some enzymes need plenty of time to have good conversations before cooking and eating, we call that magic.
Nice ❤
Would love to see a sit down of your cooking journey/story

Lol I'm making this right now, the chips are frying as we speak
You are good!! That looks delicious. Why do they call ikota ispahlo? I'm so confused?
Depends on where you live
Sphahlo is mainly what they call it in Pretoria.
@@_theerealnono_7694 in Rusty as well
@@godsbabeborn-again5945 True.
😭😭😋🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
What do you do with the oil and other pieces of patato?
I fry them or add them to my stew or whatever I’m cooking next. Oil I reuse hey. The flour sinks to the bottom and reuse
@@duindulge3798 oh thanks I thought you were gonna say something else like throughout, I hear some people say you can't reuse the oil that's why I hesitate frying chips cause it's a waste of oil, I would buy frozen just to microwave and they don't taste as nice as these deep fried. Thanks for the recipe and I'm making that tomorrow night.
Ohh my. Like throw out oil used just once 😩 no I let the flour and if there are bits of chips I just let them sink to the bottom then sieve my oil into a container 🙏🏾❤️ thank you I hope you enjoy it
She can answer that but you can season your oil also for all cooking in general
Bbe I'm in Swaziland and I wanna open my fast food ekhaya so I really need you
thanks huney..
Sellie Mowe thank you my Queen 👸🏾 ❤️💐
Oh Yum! Pity I'm on a low fat regimen for my liver. Now I'll crave all evening dammit!
I don’t know how I can make you unsee this 😂💔 please take good care of yourself. 🙏🏾🙏🏾💐
@@duindulge3798 nevermind. You are a fantastic inspiration. You're the perfect tonic for anyone who became bored with cooking. Thanx for all you do.
Hi fam
vutomi msolwa vutomi 🙏🏾
Hey hun how much did you charge for this kota?
😭😭😭😭😭😋😋😋😋😋😋
What's corn starch?? Like another word for it ??
Hey Tony. Just corn flour or cornstarch. If you do not have it. Just add a bit of baking powder in your flour it helps crisp up
@@duindulge3798 thanks 🙂
@@duindulge3798 what a good tip about baking powder! Thanks Du!
Thank you sisi👌
THANK YOU
Thank you Koti
Ye makeh. Ngyabonga Mam Dlamini ❤️🙏🏾💐
Imagine if we can export our Kotas to America. We would definitely cash in.
Not so fast, kotas no doubt are delicious but sandwiches out there are too many to count. So explore first before you are humbled. Food is art and science evolving way faster than an iota.
@@blanket7126 You make a valid point. I completely missed that blind spot.
Its a bunny chow variant.
If you're to sell this kota , for how much would you sell it?
Came here from bbtitans
🤣hai this one is not delicious, y is everything so clean(I'm jk btw)
I'll try it And follow me on Facebook Reborn Drive Thru Food Court or Lelo malankane thanks.
The discipline not to eat one chip 🌚🥶
In other parts of the world chip could mean chip of wood or like your typical simba chips but not fries like you seem to imply, just saying to help those following this blog.
Damn, and I thought American food was unhealthy. This looks like a coronary event waiting to happen. Jesus.
Obviously this shouldn't be eaten everyday.
Lmao.....why r u worried about losing weight
