Jim Cummings and Rob Paulsen making cartoons awesome since 1983
Animation's top voice-over guys of the 1990's, Rob Paulsen and Jim Cummings, essentially picking up where Peter Cullen and Frank Welker left off in the 1980's!!!
@@michaelpowell5266 All of them are just such big heroes of mine. When I was younger (I'm 17 but, I grew up with older cartoons at least to me) animaniacs, Darkwing Duck all these shows and more are just iconic, incredible stuff.
9:02 that is mindblowing! You've always been my favorite Taz Jim, and knowing that makes it even better.
Oh, hi, Steve.
I had the biggest grin when Jim broke into Tutti Frutti. FREAKIN' LITTLE RICHARD!!!! BLOODY HELL!!!! To have been a fly on the wall at Hanna Barbera the day he came in to work on Bill & Ted.
people get surprised by how nice you guys are because frequent con-goers often meet their idol, and they turn out to be rude in one form or another. so to have someone you look up to, like you two, genuinely take their time with you and have a conversation and actually be stoked to meet fans throws us off sometimes, but in a good way because we will ride the high of meeting you for a loooong time!
I speak from experience because I met Rob at Tampa comic con (the very con they recorded this at!) and I just wanted to talk to him. I didn't have enough money for an autograph or anything. he had a very nice chat with me and he had asked if I got a picture or anything and I shook my head no rather sheepishly. he was not having it, and insisted I go home with an autograph and a very warm hug. nearly made me cry, and I will never forget that interaction! keep doing what you guys do for as long as you can! much love!
I had a similar experience with Tom Kane, who voices Yoda among other characters in The Clone Wars, at a Celebration years ago. I didn't have the funds or the time to get an autograph, but I saw him sitting at his table with nobody around. So, I figured, what the hell. This guy's one of my idols, I may never have this chance again, I'll go say hi.
"Excuse me, I'm sorry - I didn't pay for an autograph, but I'm a huge fan and wanted to just come say hello and thank you," blah blah, so on and so forth.
He could not have been nicer and more gracious. I'll never forget that meeting.
Jim Cummings and Rob Paulsen are Totally the best of our childhood 😊❤ dubbing our favorite characters i mean it's wonderful 😍 i love them 🤩
Antoine and Dr. Robotnik... absolute legends! :)
Whatchu think of Jim's suggestion that he and Rob worked together more than with any other actor? Because I have to think Frank Welker has worked with both of them more than they have each other.
Rob did Throttle in Biker Mice from Mars. I would love to hear him voice Throttle again.
Love Rob & his Carl shirt. I also loved his podcast. It not only got me through some tough times as a teen, but it really helped me appreciate all the hard work that goes into making a show or movie. I don't think I even knew what a "voice director" was before Rob brought the great Andrea Romano in.
Rob Paulson voiced Bobble in the Tinker Bell movies. When I heard Bobble’s voice, I thought it was David Tennent. But I guess it really was Rob putting on his Scottish accent for the Bobble character.
Glad to see these two legends meet! You know having Jim, Rob, Maurice, Frank and Tress in the same project, that's like the 80s/90s voice actor equivalent of the 'Brat Pack" or the "Rat Pack", should I call it the "Toon Pack"?
It's so wild to watch the two dudes that voiced my childhood, just sit around shooting the shit lol amazing.
Yay! My 2 favorite voice actors growing up in the same podcast! How I wish to be in the same room aa you two! Heck, I wanna be a voice actor because of watching your multiple cartoon characters! 😀😀😀
Both of them are the sweetest people I’ve ever met
My two favorite voice actors in one podcast!!!! You guys are awesome!!!
Doesn’t matter what I’m doing , whenever I see either of you at a con close enough to me, I’m coming to meet you. Thank you guys for the childhood memories and now adult memories as I get to share them with my kids. I love you guys
You guys shaped _sooooo so_ many generations of animation and I'm just glad you all are finally becoming much more open and recognized for your contributions to character acting. Audiences and studios/companies with shallow mindsets would say "anyone can do this," not understanding the expressive flow and timing that goes behind creating a distinct and effective voice for a character, especially when you have multiple roles on a single project. There's a good reason why we want a Rob Paulsen or Jim Cummings or Billy West or Tom Kenny or Carlos Alazraqui or Phil LaMarr or Tara Strong or Tress MacNeille or Cree Summer than some indispensable famous A-list celebrity of the week to sell tickets.
The Real Kings Of Animation Comedy!!! LMFAO I need this on 4K!!! Please 🙏 😂😂😂
I don’t live anywhere near any of the usual convention locations and I don’t know if they’d even see this comment, but these two gentlemen right here shaped my childhood. I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s watching these guys voice every show and every character and I adore them. They’ll never know how much they mean to all of the fans like myself. Thank you.
Rob Paulsen acting crazy as Gusto Gummi is still in my head and then Jim was Zummi after Paul Winchell.
That was cool 😎
Love you both so much Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain and Darkwing Duck were my childhood. Meeting you both brought tears to my and my sister's eyes. Thank you so much for this treat Jim and Rob. And I love Tress and Little Richard, Phil Hartman what legends
Two of my favorite voice actors ever.
The feeling you got when Mel said “What's up doc” to you, is the same feeling we get when you say “hello Nurse” and “Narf, point and egad”😊
Bump In The Night was one of my favorite shows,I was sad when they removed the show.
Two of the sweetest people I've ever met
I’m fortunate enough to have met these legends! 😃
Jim doing the tyson chronicles, this is what magic is all about Charlie Brown.
Two great voice actors 😊 thank you for my childhood guys!
Bump in the Night was awesome.
Two absolute legends. Expectations not lowered at all. Not only so many voices from my childhood but even in roles I love now! I'm genuinely jealous of those in Tampa who got to see you. MN rarely gets chances where I could meet either of you.
I loved watching Bump in the Night!
I was just watching "Bump in the Night", you two are legendary together
Legends true legends
This was absolutely amazing! These are the types of guys I want to get drinks with and just listen to their stories for days
Jim, these podcast episodes keep getting better and better

Loved Bump in the Night
I just thought of another one, y'all did together!! Mickey Mouse, Clubhouse!!
Don’t forget A Goofy Movie Jim ofc voiced Pete and Rob voiced P.J. (Pete’s son)
Two of the best in the business! From the bottom of my heart, thank you both so much for a lifetime's worth of joy filled memories. I've had the honor of meeting Jim back in Atlantic City in either 14 or 15. I haven't met Rob yet but I hope to the next time he's at a convention nearby-ish.
I love Rob's Carl Wheezer shirt.
I wish Jim could reprise his Leatherhead role. Man he was GOLD! "I gauranteeeee"
Nice! I had recently talked to Rob about Bump In the Night, You, Rob, and Gail did AMAZING jobs!
I LOVED Bump in the Night, yet none of my friend's remember it and think I'm crazy any time I bring it up. Both of you gentlemen played a massive role in my childhood. Almost every cartoon I loved at least one of you were in, if not both. Thank you for all the fun and I love hearing all the behind the scenes stories.
It's such a pleasure to see you both and to hear your hilarious stories from the good old days.
You guys did good singing 👍 for little Richard hes a great singer 😅
Thank you for starting this podcast Jim
Another brilliant episode
This made my whole day! Love these two! 😁
Thank God I found this.
Jim, why you not voicing Pooh and Tigger in Playdate with Winnie The Pooh?
I could sit and listen to any of these guys sit and just fuckin tell stories man….and yes, I know who little Richard is lol. ;)
Love you guys. ❤

Two of my childhood heroes in one epic podcast! Also I love Rob's Carl shirt!!
Keep it up you two
We all love you
As soon as I heard Rude Dog I went nuts
Great stuff, Jim! Get Jeff Bennett on the show!
I like this guy Rob Paulsen such a iconic voices like Pinky in Pinky and the Brain Yakko in Animaniacs Carl Wheezer in Jimmy Neutron PJ in Goof Troop Raphael in 80s Ninja Turtles and Donatello in Nickelodeon’s Ninja Turtles series
I love these guys.
Great episode!! Love that you’ve both been on each other’s podcasts!! 💕
A little Mickey and the roadster racers reunion considering both Jim and Rob were Pete & Jose respectively 🥰🥰🥰
Hydro-man from Spider-man the nimated series is my favorite performance of his.
"Did you say Hydrant Man?! The dog's must love you."
That's Rob Paulsen!! And. He is a goofball!!🤣🤣
LOVE AND ALGORITHM APPEASEMENT AND LOVE AND ALGORITHM APPEASEMENT AND LOVE 💜🤠‼️
My dream job as a kid after watching the jetsons is one day was not be a famous actor but to be cartoon voice actor get paid lots money live in SoCal and retire in Malibu living the good life at 65. Never happened but nice to live vicariously through these guys. 😂
19:03 Love that reference!!!
I love how Deadpool was brought in.❤
You reprised the role as *Ed* while Rob Paulsen understudied the role as Banzai, that replaced Cheech Marin in The Lion King franchise!
While jim understudied Jeremy irons as scar a few times
How much money do I need to throw at Jim and Rob to hear them do fangirl screams? Especially for Little Richard lol
You gotta have Jeff Bergman on the pod!
Totally!!!
Jim, get Peter Cullen and Frank Welker on the program, soon, where all 3 of you can reminisce about the original Transformers series!!!
❤
Rob rocking the Carl Weezer croissant button-up like a boss
Mr Bumpy and Sqishington together again!!!!
4:30 for the longest time I thought the son was voiced by Mary Kay Bergman, he sounds similar to her Timmy Turner
Tara Strong has always been voicing Timmy Turner since 2001.
@@vinnietheanimationgod8149 Mary voiced him in the Oh yeah cartoons pilot shorts
@@47Cartoonguy I remember that
You guys forgot to mention "Goof Troop" and "The Goofy Movie". You two played Father and Son in those.
Jim, anyone who knows your work knows who little Richard is.
Rob. Does also know, that. Like Caroll Spinney. Someone, else is gonna have to take over his characters one day!!
Mr. Bumpy & Squishington!
25:20 I wonder if it was like that working with Justin Roiland. Like it's one thing to voice Snowball and ask Summer where his testicles are, but to have Roiland just improvising about a detective called Baby Legs and Rob trying to keep up going "I'll save you, I'm... regular.. legs."
The story at 29:44 is sooo funny
52:26 mike tyson
Jim Cummings was in CatDog with Tom Kenny
Knots berry farm is best place ever
Does Rob still do his podcast?
been a fan of both legends since the Bumpy and Squishington days. pitiful that the disney corporation was ruining things even way back when.
👍
34:36
Andrew Santino's creator is awesome
Did you know that Warner Bros. didn’t know that the Tasmanian Devil is real?
Well almost nobody can't Dubbed you Jim as Taz except when Taz has to speak normally.
Who the heck is RON Paulson 😂
Haha why must the N be next to the B?!🤣
@@jimcummingspodthose dang letters.. so complicated ❤❤❤
TMNT mini reunion.

I unliked this video, just to like it again ❤
