Don't put the anubias into the gravel. The rizom should not be covered . Otherwise it could be rotten after 2 months. Glue it to a stone or wood.
The water from the shop never ever into your aquarium . The fish into a bucket with the water from the shop. Let water drop in the bucket from your aquarium for about one our. Then put the fish into the aquarium . Leave the water in the bucket! Otherwise you could spread the bacterias from the shop into your aquarium . Excuses for my bad english, but that's the way aquarians do it.
Strange that this tank hasnt' got a lid. You'll find fish on the floor- especially bettas or even shrimp.
You should get a Betta fish they have awesome personality's and would thrive in that tank

A nice piece of driftwood with some java fern in the middle would look cool + the Bristlenose would really appreciate it since it's a part of its diet.

Love the way this tank looks. I want it for my office, but only concern is fish potentially jumping out. Have you had those minnows jump yet?
I haven’t had any issues, but I would definitely recommend keeping a lower water level to try and prevent jumping
