The difference between Raja and LeBron is that LeBron is planning on owning one of the expansion teams and he wants to play with his son. Staying with the Lakers is the best option for attaining both goals.

    The Lakers need to rebuild.

There is no move that gets them a championship. The roster overhall necessary to make them competitive 1-8 with actual contenders is like 3 moves minimum and they don't have the assets.

He should move on if he wants any chance to win before he hangs it up. They're a perennial play-in team with no chance at a championship while he's in LA. They do not have enough assets or more importantly, time, to build it back into something meaningful after so many mistakes. He got that legacy defining chip in Cleveland and then managed to win one more with the Lakers and I think since then he's been more of the "if it happens it happens" mindset than really hunting it. I think him being comfortable in LA with his family takes priority over anything at this point which is fair. But as a fan it's a downer to see him waste so much remaining ability and talent playing for nothing when he's actually still an amazing player even this old. But he's never pressured the Lakers with his contracts the way he used to in Cleveland and Miami and that just kinda signals to me that for better or worse he's pretty content just riding it out however it ends

It's a bit crazy that Lebron is even still considering playing next year when the Lakers are this sorry and his response to it was "it's just basketball".
Dude was done after the IST and he should've announced his retirement right then.

LBJ wants to be the first NBA player to play with his son. He doesn’t give a sh!t about the team or whether it’s the right thing for his Bronny. He’s just going to will it into fruition and it’s going to be the more terrible, rotten, disgusting nepotistic basketball we’ve ever seen but the Lakers are that and more as an organization.

Lebron doesn’t care about winning. He wants all the $ possible to buy an expansion team, probably Vegas

He will move to the Suns and he will not care about anyone anymore🤣. People will have something to say to him no matter what he does so why not give himself the chance to win more if he wants to win more? If he wins more after doing that what can you ever do about it? He's in his last legs of his career he should be able to relax now while having the chance to win another championship🤷‍♂️ decades after that who would say he did not win more championships along with his individual accolades. What all you can do is cry about it🤣

3 minute segment on the Caruso-Giddey trade but 30+ minutes on the Lakers who will at best be a 4 or 5 seed

I feel like Dallas would be the best move for the max outcome.
Dallas need a 3rd option. LBJ needs a team that has a shot at winning where he isnt the 1st or 2nd option every night.
Bronny needs a coach who is good with player development. If anyone is going to max out whatever bronny's nba potential is it's either Kidd, Pop or Spoelstra.
The spurs arent there. The Heat is maybe an option with Jimmy, Bam, Herro and Jaquez plus you have the bonus of the East being weaker

LeBron should go to the Pistons or Wizards and prove the “LeBron could take any team in the East to the playoffs” theory true and then retire suddenly and mysteriously via an emergency broadcast.

Someone find that clip of LeBron saying in the huddle during the 2016 finals in game 7 to give Kyrie the last shot. Thats all I needed to know.

If LeBron stays & the Lakers draft Bronny, I believe that proves LeBron prioritized setting up his son with a guaranteed contract over a chance at ring #5. Fam over fame.

There is no winning situation for Lebron. If he leaves Lakers to a championship caliber team, people will say that he is a ring chaser. And if he stay in Lakers with mediocre team, people will say he is not competitive anymore he does not want to win. 😂

It depends on where Bronny goes. He’s never wavered from his desire to play alongside his son.

I think he should either go back to Cleveland to retire or go join the Thunder

Ring #5 has to be in LA. Being a hired gun elsewhere won't hit.
