The investment scammers tend to avoid calls. If you want to get into a call with them I usually pretend to have a ton of money to invest then I tell them I need my grandfathers permission. If they say they can answer any questions through text tell them that your grandfather is an old school guy and needs to talk to a person . They usually call you at that point . I have done that twice to them and then annoyed them .
Botox is no joke. I was prescribed some for my 90% fever, and it brought me down to 25%. Still waiting for information on if my power level is OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is so cruel and insensitive. My great great grandfather passed away from a botox deficiency in 1889, and I still miss him like crazy. My heart goes out to this poor man and his young daughter that definitely exists. 😭

A family member once fell for one of these and he went through his savings until he had to beg for money to send to his "Bride-to-be". Keep it up Kitboga, making people aware of these things is very important and nothing hurts a Nigerian more than public shaming

just a moment ago i got out of bed and heard my mom was on a call with someone and it immediately rubbed me the wrong way, said that she was trying to get amazon help because she couldnt log in(she just messed up and didnt try again) well she told me she had to go to the nearest pharmacy and had to stay on call with the guy so i was like.. this sounds VERY ODDLY FAMILIAR.. i listened to the call while my parents were away just to see if he said anything and in the background i heard "bank of america" another red flag.. i texted her after she left IF THEY ASK FOR GIFT CARDS ITS A SCAM and sure enough it was. im so glad ive been here watching all of these because this is the first experience ive had like this and just saved my mom the trouble of dealing with these sickos. thank you

Thank you so much for what you do. My wifes family was destroyed when her mother fell for a romance Facebook scam. After that, mother developed type 2 diabetes, became bedbound, and there was no money for proper medical care, and she died a few years later. Watching you do these things is the closest thing to justice I know her family deserves.

He told her that it was for his grand children but he also had his phone up to his ear and down again back and forth like he might have an ongoing call. I’ve been watching your videos for forever and I really wanted to say something, but had no idea what to say. Thankfully the cashier brought in a manager and they took the transaction to the service desk. I hope with all my hope that this man wasn’t being scammed…or if he was, they helped him before he lost any money. Your videos on gift cards should be mandatory watching for (at least) major retail stores and gas stations.

Kitboga definitely don’t need to pay for any acting lessons! His Improvisation skill is epic how he does the switching between different characters on the fly that’s amazing! He can easily be a movie actor or a ventriloquist (different characters) or become a voice actor besides what he already does very well! Talent!!

This one hit was really close to home. My son currently has a fever that’s fluctuating between 100-102 degrees. It’s hard as it is and I can’t even imagine if it escalated to 80%. This poor man and his poor poor daughter.
Yesterday I was meeting up with family friends for beer, one of these friends is like a grandfather to me. He told us a story about an issue he was having with his bank, which turned out to be a scam. Poor guy lost $500 that he won’t get back, but luckily his daughter caught him before he could give another $1200. He still seemed confused about the whole thing, thinking the callers had too much info about his account to not be real. But because of your channel, I was able to sit with him and explain how scammers target their victims, what their goals are, how to identify one, and where to go for help. Couldn’t have helped him without you man

Right on! this one hits home for me. My wife fell for a very similar FB Messenger scam to the tune of $4K. It turns out that one day, she went "shopping" for gift cards. It sure raised my eyebrows when I looked at our bank account the following day and noticed we were suddenly $4K short! That SOB was even asking ME to participate and send money after I found out about this! We both learned some expensive lessons and obviously we're more careful about who gets our money. Watching this channel is entertaining good and educational therapy, because these scammers are getting paid back. I don't hate many things but this is an exception. Keep up the good work. I'll be watching and learning. GO GET EM!
It's so heartless and nasty, taking advantage of people who are often lonely and want friends or romance. I'm so glad a lot of us have been able to learn about scams and teach our parents, grandparents, and friends about them!! I've been able to help my grandparents avoid the few scams they've been called/emailed about over the past few years!
I realize that as a 30-ish adult, I was scammed. I went on several dates in person with an individual who tried to convince me to invest in CELO and sign up for a site to mine it. They even gifted me coins. The price has fallen to 10% of the value. Luckily it was only ~$200 but I recognize the scam now. It was still a big hit as a grad student making very little money. I’m an amateur programmer (10+ years) but I thought I knew better. It can happen to anyone. Thank you Kit for your work.

I sell life insurance and was doing an application for her and we started talking and she told me about being scammed. She was so ashamed that she lost all her money she was leaving for her son. I felt so bad. It was crazy for me because I always listen to u and to hear it happen to a real person blew me away. I felt so bad for her
When the scammer starts with "Listen, listen, listen!" it made me think of Hoax Hotel. He scam baits the Jamaican and Nigerian scammers, and that's their usual "I'm getting fed up with you wasting my time!" response.

i remember falling for a fake romance scammer on skype when i was like 19, just seemed like a chill girl i met on a game, send me unsolicited and obviously not their own nudes and got extremely angry i didn't send back. kinda realized at that point what they were trying but damn, can't imagine being that devoid of empathy

I have an idea for a video. You impersonate an elderly lady or man and make it to the point where they fake that you’ve received too much money. If they threaten you or act like you’ve really messed up, pretend to literally die on the call. Leave the call running, and have a fake paramedic come and pick up the phone at some point; see how they respond.
Seems like it's somewhat common. They'll use whatever tactics they think will work to siphon money out of their victims. These scammers are absolutely without morals.
Catfish scammers have been around a lot longer than these IRS and customer support scammers. It's probably the easiest scam to pull off, considering the other ones don't make any sense at all. I don't get how they scam anyone.

I'm so glad a lot of us have been able to learn about scams and teach our parents, grandparents, and friends about them!! I've been able to help my grandparents avoid the few scams they've been called/emailed about over the past few years!
I realize that as a 30-ish adult, I was scammed. I went on several dates in person with an individual who tried to convince me to invest in CELO and sign up for a site to mine it. They even gifted me coins. The price has fallen to 10% of the value. Luckily it was only ~$200 but I recognize the scam now. It was still a big hit as a grad student making very little money.

I watch u all the time and I actually just met an old lady who was scammed for 71k. I sell life insurance and was doing an application for her and we started talking and she told me about being scammed. She was so ashamed that she lost all her money she was leaving for her son. I felt so bad. It was crazy for me because I always listen to u and to hear it happen to a real person blew me away. I felt so bad for her
When the scammer starts with "Listen, listen, listen!" it made me think of Hoax Hotel. He scam baits the Jamaican and Nigerian scammers, and that's their usual "I'm getting fed up with you wasting my time!" response.

i remember falling for a fake romance scammer on skype when i was like 19, just seemed like a chill girl i met on a game, send me unsolicited and obviously not their own nudes and got extremely angry i didn't send back. kinda realized at that point what they were trying but damn, can't imagine being that devoid of empathy

I have an idea for a video. You impersonate an elderly lady or man and make it to the point where they fake that you’ve received too much money. If they threaten you or act like you’ve really messed up, pretend to literally die on the call.
Leave the call running, and have a fake paramedic come and pick up the phone at some point; see how they respond.
Being a thief and scamming an old person by pretending to be helping them is one thing, but how low do you have to stoop to flirt with them, jfc...
Seems like it's somewhat common. They'll use whatever tactics they think will work to siphon money out of their victims. These scammers are absolutely without morals.

Catfish scammers have been around a lot longer than these IRS and customer support scammers. It's probably the easiest scam to pull off, considering the other ones don't make any sense at all. I don't get how they scam anyone.
