I'm blessed to be living in the California foothills of the Sierras and don't see much of the mess. I grew up near San Francisco.
State of the State: Tens of billions in debt, homeless and illegal population is thriving and the streets are paved in human shit. That about sums it up.

Same! I moved to Nevada in April. Still close enough for family to visit w/o all the weird California laws. We have a Republican governor who was a sheriff. The difference in how the state is run is wild. I wish I had left years ago.
