Good on ya for doing the round especially with going off route and a cold water exposure to boot! 😂🥶 Went off route years ago on the Cairngorm plateau in white out conditions due to a rookie map reading error. Won't do that again! Will do this one on a week day out of the holidays as it gets busy in the car park we hear. Bynack More our next one planned followed by the Braeriach/Cairn Toul round. It's lovely up on the Cairngorm plateau. Hardest to date the round from Glen Feshie due to poor weather more than difficulty. Had to make use of the storm shelter for a while. Look forward to your next adventures. Hope the knee and leg have healed after your Lin of Dee hike.
Oh really you had to go into shelter? Was it that bad? I havent had any conditions like that yet? But i havent done any proper winter walks so im sure they will come soon, not looking forward to it tho😂😜
@@DanMunroMan aye used our four person storm shelter we carry with us outwith summer months. It was very cold and energy sapping and not as forecast. The shelter gave us time to eat before we headed quickly back to the glen. Your doing well with the bagging, great weather so far. Will sit down and watch your latest one tonight. 🙂
@@DanMunroMan we just got ours from Amazon. A Vango 400 storm shelter. Packs small and light but you can get smaller 2 and 3 man ones. Less than £30. Had good reviews. We just carry the life saver blankets in summer. Good to have in case you come across an emergency too. Along with first aid kit. Especially when going onto the more precipitous hills like Torridon and cuillins etc. Peace of mind. 🙂
@@kisilvan yeah thats actually a great idea, i never thought about that! I will definitely buy one for the colder months! Thanks a lot for mentioning it!!
Enjoying your channel Dan, keep up the good work. P.S. think the hats and gloves were lost property for people to maybe pick up the next time they're passing 😂
Hi Gebbie, i dont think you would be able to get up Lochnagar on a bike, but if you went the reverse route alongside the lake you would manage that no bother, you would probably just have to turn back round at some point :)
HI Everyone, I realise i am pronouncing Loch Muick wrong but it is understandable if you hadn't heard someone say it before so forgive me!!!😂😂
Loch Muick. 'Loch Moochk', 'ch' like in German 'doch'. It means 'Lake (of the) Pig' in Gaelic. I hope this helps.
@@Marchawc all the local folk pronounce it like Mick.
Great video and weather being kind was a massive bonus. Looking forward to tackling these Munro’s soon.
Thankyou! And yeah i have been pretty lucky with the weather on these munro hikes, you’ll really enjoy them!
Have these planned for Sunday! Wish me luck 😂😂
Good luck! Its a long one! Make sure you have bought a wheelchair, cause you will be needing it all next week😂
@@DanMunroMan I almost needed one last month after doing Ben Hope! 😂😂😂
Wow that was a very long day, well done. The views were stunning. Thanks for sharing cos I am never going to tackle that!
Yeah it was a long day but totally worth it😂and i dont blame you it so long😂

Hahaha yeah just sleep on the bench or something😂
Brilliant Dan, just found your channel. A great wee watch and a walk I am looking forward to doing. New Subscriber! Cheers Paul
Thanks paul! Appreciate the kind words
Love your video. Ty
Thank you Kirsty! You’re welcome!
Well done doing 5 in one day, it must be hard going. Keep up the good videos.
Thanks Archie! Yeah was really exhausting, was my longest day out yet

Aw thankyou steve! That means a lot! And ahh okay yeah that makes sense!
Hi mate starting to climb our first munros from this weekend. What’s the best app you would recommend? Keep up the good videos 👍🏻
Hi Jack, well id recommend outdoor active but it does cost like £30 but 100% worth it, os maps is also good
Was it the walk highlands gpx that was wrong? That’s what I was going to use tomorrow 😂
No i didnt use the walk highlands gpx, i used a random route from viewranger which i thought was the same route
@@DanMunroMan cheers, I was thinking that when I had a look at it and compared it to the route shown in video. Looking forward to it
So if the patreon channel footage is "uncensored" who is censoring the other footage???
I have decided not to do a patreon now
Hi Dan. Was the majority of the route passable on a mountainbike or e-bike? From the video it looked fine enough. Just a few rock fields?

Was this filmed recently?
Hi Kyle, this was filmed before all the snow hit badly
Could of made it 6 very easy , you walked right passed Meikle pap
I just do munros and not munro tops. I might do all the munro tops after i have completed the munros!
Don't use mobile phone to film when driving. Six points nowadays.
Thanks
