I was born and raised in Vegas...I foundly remember Count Cool Rider!!!! I just googled and showed my kids a Count Cool Rider Clip because I remember spending soooo many Saturday nights watching him. Loved him!!!!! And then while being nostalgic, suddenly it dawned on me who he is!!!!! I googled to confirm it and then my mind was blown. I love him on Pawn Stars and Counting cars! I recognized him *almost* right away! So awesome!!!!
Bring it back!! These were the good old days! Bring it back! PLEASE! . . . . This guy was kind of a Geek for a host but we like him anyway! 🤣 Every Saturday night in the 90's this was my sister and I THING!
Danny is just a cool guy. He seems to be the genuine article. It's nice to see some "real" people having a chance to get their name out there. He has a good heart and is generous while being cool and respected by all kinds of people. That's not an easy thing to do. He has a few different businesses and has been doing these things before there was Counting Cars of Pawn Stars or whatever. He's the real deal. I wish I could afford a vehicle done by him. The only other guy I hold in the same category is Chip Foose from Overhaulin, another big hearted, "real" guy. God bless all these "cool guys" and the wonderful work they do. Great job man !!!!
You gotta give it up to Danny! He's worth a TON OF MONEY and he's LIVING LARGE! Fame and fortune plus he does all the things he Loves whenever he wants. Cars.....Club......Band......Hit T.V. Show WTF!!! That is AWESOME, Love him or Hate him, he's doing something right, I think he's a Pretty COOL Cat! 🎸💚
It used to be super fun for me as a kid. With my popcorn and kool aid , laying on tha floor and Count Cool Rider showing Movies on our TV. We didnt have cable back then.
PLEASE POST MORE!!!! I religiously watched this show nearly every Saturday night throughout the 90s. I have framed signed photos from Count Cool Rider and The Bat Girls up around my apartment. I MISS THIS SO MUCH!!!!!!!!
I swear this is the coolest guy I've ever seen anywhere. The guys always smiling and barely or ever gets angry. I love watching his show just because of that. A guy that gets very easily angered like me looks up to him.
Man, this brings back some great memories! I used to LOVE Saturday Fright at the Movies, partly because Danny would come up with same kinds of horrible puns that I did! Thanks for sharing this!
Instant B film Nostalgia. Love the corny jokes. Used to watch this when I was a kid.....Camping in the backyard, staying up late with a mini 1980's portable TV set. Totally remember the hiss and free tickets too...
Miss this too. Yes, they were terrible B Movies, but man what fun. Get the popcorn, turn out the lights and watch the movie, and watch the count interact with the Bat Girls while making bad jokes and giving away prizes. He was great as the Count.
The intro has been living rent free in my head for years. As a kid, I remember my Grandma always used to watch this show. That'd be wild if he made a guest appearance in What We Do in the Shadows.
I never missed an episode I met him after the show was canceled and he was doing his custom cycles and cars. He liked coming to the club I ran called Foxy Girls. A real nice guy now I try not to miss his custom count show. Love ya Danny. TCB :)
omfg!!! i used to watch all the time n always tried to win something but i was only in 6th grade and i never got thru... i live in vegas n i see him all the time on his counts customs car show on tv.. i loooove cars!! very much .. itd b nice to see these guys finish up a car..
Thanks for the upload. I live in Vegas and have fond memories of catching this every Saturday night back in the late 90s. I sure miss it, would be awesome if it'd be brought back with Count Cool Rider back hosting. I bet a revival would be successful, too.
This clip was shown on the David Letterman Show when Dave interviewed Danny Koker "The Count" of Counting Cars on the History Channel! Not a similar clip...this clip!! Enjoy Coumt Cool Rider was just that...Cool!!!
God, I love Danny. And his show and this awesome cheesy Count Cool Rider persona! So happy Counting Cars has more eps this year. These guys feel like friends of mine now.
I lived in Las Vegas from 1993 - 1999, when I was in my 30's. I loved this show. I used to call in and win stuff. I have a "Catch the Count" t-shirt and a coffee mug. I even went to the station on Decatur Blvd. to pick them up.
Wow Danny. This is a trip. I live in Pittsburgh and I just saw the new episode where Scott spilled the beans to the rest of the US about Count Cool Rider and I had to see it for myself. Love the show, love the collection, and I'm proud to say that I'm probably your biggest fan. Thanks for everything brother!
beefcurtainz69 Yep. It came on Las Vegas, NV local WB channel every Saturday night. He would comment in between the segments, before, and after the movie and make corny jokes about the films! Count Cool was awesomeness!!!!!!
Yup Kind of a male Elvira, or like that guy who hosted in Sacramento, I forget his name, Bob something. Seems was a trend back then. lots of horror intro shows on TV.
It seems with some research that I my life has been connected to Danny since I was a kid. Danny was one or the gospel group the, "Rex Humbard Singers" that I saw perform at a church when I was about 10 or so. I remember seeing this "Saturday Fright at The Movies" via a home made VHS tape as a teen, and now one of my favorite shows in "Counting Cars".
I saw the same episode of counting cars as you did just now that's also why I'm here to. I only seen him on counting cars so this Is funny I'm also a big fan of his him and his team do a great job...Steve D
I was just watching counting cars and scott said you use to be COUNT COOL RIDER!!! All I can say is RIGHTEOUS! !!!!!! I love everything to do with Halloween! !! Cause that my birthday! !! If I survive my heart surgery friday ( NO JOKE) I want you to do my 69 Cougar XR7!!!!! YOU ROCK COUNT COOL RIDER!!!
hhaha you read my mind. I thought I was just being over critical but I kept listening and I was like ....no.....he keeps going back to normal voice. ha
So cheesy it's awesome! I've been a fan of car customizing shows ever since they were mainly "how to" shows, normally associated with a car or truck magazine or parts catalog. They would show as fillers or late at night on cable channels like ESPN or The Nashville Network. The hosts had no personality and just narrated the nuts and bolts of the project. I fell in love with the flash and attitude of Richard Rollins on Fast & Loud and then discovered Danny and his show. Fast & Loud is a better produced show, but I like The Count's style and cars better. I always wondered where Danny got the nickname from. Now I know.
+Bill Smith you gotta remember though no matter how rich you are business is business my friend! and danny seems to love making custom bikes/cars! so i think the money is just an added bonus for him :)
If I had the chance to drink a beer with anyone in the world, it would have to be the Count! The man is a class act. Raion, I agree. There's a lot to look up to about this mans demeanor and the way he treats others. I wish I was a fraction as cool as him, I would probably be an asshole though so that's probably why the man above didn't create me as such.
I think shit like this cool. Seeing where someone came from, where they cut their teeth in entertainment. Danny has real charisma and it's cool to see here in something so cheesy.
Ooooh!!! Man!!!! It's High school ALL Over again. 90s Baby!
He was silly but great Dude!
I was born and raised in Vegas...I foundly remember Count Cool Rider!!!! I just googled and showed my kids a Count Cool Rider Clip because I remember spending soooo many Saturday nights watching him. shauna mama I didn't know who he was at first when one as watching pawn stars took a while.Glad to see some locals who remember.
I watched this as a kid with my dad. It was hysterical. His humor makes me laugh to this day. Thanks for the joy Count Cool Rider
Me too. I stayed the night at my cousin's so I could stay up late to watch it 😂
Wow. As a teen growing up in Vegas in the 90s, this sure does bring back memories. I loved every movie he played on Saturday night
Me too. Says 99 but I remember it being way before that. What do you think?
The nostalgia is strong with this one! Ugh, I miss Count Cool Rider so much!
I think he makes more of a comedian than a horror show
Y'all are lucky! I grew up in a very Undeveloped part of South Carolina and we only had 3 channels
Yeah, bro. I was in elementary and middle school watch this show. I miss it alot
Bring it back!! These were the good old days! Bring it back! PLEASE! . . . . This guy was kind of a Geek for a host but we like him anyway! 🤣 Every Saturday night in the 90's this was my sister and I THING!
This was golden.
I love when the normal voice comes through.
Danny is one cool count.
I can’t believe I didn’t remember this and recognize him when I first saw him on Counting Cars. Did a year in Vegas, loved this show.
I used to watch this guy every Saturday night. Those were the good days.
Danny is just a cool guy. He seems to be the genuine article. It's nice to see some "real" people having a chance to get their name out there. I remember this guy when I was a kid. I use to watch him on TV in the 90's ha ha. I wrote to his fan club. This brings back memories.
You gotta give it up to Danny! He's worth a TON OF MONEY and he's LIVING LARGE! Fame and fortune plus he does all the things he Loves whenever he wants. Cars.....Club......Band......Hit T.V. I Love the introduction!!! It's Bad ass!
0:01 LOOOVE the introduction!!!😎😎
I remember watching Saturday night fright at the movies when I first move to Las Vegas in 1995 and it's still bloody good. 😀👍🧛♂️
I firggin' love The Count. The guy just seems like a legitimately cool dude. I love his show, Counting Cars.
I love out here in Vegas and I go to concerts at his club, Vamp'd, all the time. Met him many times. He's a good guy.
0:01 I love the introduction! (With The Girl screaming in the background and the castle and everything!!) 😉👌
Man, this brings back some great memories! I used to LOVE Saturday Fright at the Movies, partly because Danny would come up with same kinds of horrible puns that I did! Thanks for sharing this!
The perks of living in Vegas back in the day was gems like this.
Instant B film Nostalgia. Love the corny jokes. Used to watch this when I was a kid.....Camping in the backyard, staying up late with a mini 1980's portable TV set. Totally remember the hiss and free tickets too...
Glad he's doing counting cars now.
used to watch this as a kid in las vegas, miss it :(
Jackie Rose Me nice to see someone local remembers this!! So cool!
Miss this too. Yes, they were terrible B Movies, but man what fun. Get the popcorn, turn out the lights and watch the movie, and watch the count interact with the Bat Girls while making bad jokes and giving away prizes. He was great as the Count.
Anyone else notice how his count cool rider voice comes and goes?
It's crazy how this is the same count from counting cars. I believe he was the co owner of this television station that aired this show
The intro has been living rent free in my head for years.
TCB :)
the history channel should bring either Danny or the count cool rider character to do shows about Halloween lore.
omfg!!! i used to watch all the time n always tried to win something but i was only in 6th grade and i never got thru... i live in vegas n i see him all the time on his counts customs car show on tv.. i loooove cars!! very much .. itd b nice to see these guys finish up a car..
SOUNDS LIKE --ROLI-- FROM THE SHOW.
AND I ALWAYS WONDERED WHAT HE LOOKING LIKE WITH HAIR.
I wish he would do this again its hilarious lol
Thanks for the upload. I live in Vegas and have fond memories of catching this every Saturday night back in the late 90s. I sure miss it, would be awesome if it'd be brought back with Count Cool Rider back hosting. I bet a revival would be successful, too.
Talented guy for sure! Easy on the eyes also!
I loved this program and I was an adult! It of course is nostalgic of The Vegas Vampire and he did it justice! I sure wish you would come back!
SO THATS WHAT DANNY LOOK LIKE WITHOUT HIS BANDANA
LINKART SMOKE no, that's what he looked like 20 years ago without the bandana. That bandana is covering a whole lotta bald!
This clip was shown on the David Letterman Show when Dave interviewed Danny Koker "The Count" of Counting Cars on the History Channel! Not a similar clip...this clip!! Enjoy Coumt Cool Rider was just that...Cool!!!
LasVegasHaunts subscribed!
In the early 90s this was my shit..... Too bad he became a self centered douche bag

God, I love Danny. And his show and this awesome cheesy Count Cool Rider persona! So happy Counting Cars has more eps this year. These guys feel like friends of mine now.
Nostalgia Pure
This is awesome. I used to wonder whatever happened to him and it blew my mind when I found out that "the car guy" on Pawn Stars was him.
I lived in Las Vegas from 1993 - 1999, when I was in my 30's. I loved this show. I used to call in and win stuff. I have a "Catch the Count" t-shirt and a coffee mug. I even went to the station on Decatur Blvd. to pick them up.

There needs to be more shows like this on TV now.
If Jimmy Hart and the Big Show had a baby it would be the Danny in this clip. I love to watch this dude on PS and CC.

Count Cool Rider. I loved this guys show when I was a kid.
I have a photograpghed pic of Count Cool Rider from MGMs Halloween park from maybe 1995 or 1996! Just loved that show! Watched religiously.
What was it exactly? He hosted a show that played horror movies and came on and talked before and after them?
beefcurtainz69 Yep.
It was Bob Wilkins who hosted Creature Features back in the 70's.
Now I'm going think of this every time I see him on counting cars or pawn stars
It seems with some research that I my life has been connected to Danny since I was a kid.
Danny was one or the gospel group the, "Rex Humbard Singers" that I saw perform at a church when I was about 10 or so. I remember seeing this "Saturday Fright at The Movies" via a home made VHS tape as a teen, and now one of my favorite shows in "Counting Cars".
Oh man, this is awesome!
Danny " The Count" hosting a low budget show with chezzy , low budget zombie movies? How cool is that.
I love it!
Counting cars rocking my world, but Danny sure is scary, "Saturday Of The Fright"
Back when vampire was still cool.
I saw the same episode of counting cars as you did just now that's also why I'm here to. I only seen him on counting cars so this Is funny I'm also a big fan of his him and his team do a great job...Steve D

So cheesy it's awesome! I've been a fan of car customizing shows ever since they were mainly "how to" shows, normally associated with a car or truck magazine or parts catalog. Fast & Loud is a better produced show, but I like The Count's style and cars better. I always wondered where Danny got the nickname from. Now I know.
And oh yeah... When I hit the lottery, Danny will come to know me quite well. LOL!
+BigDaddy Dave I don't think so, BDD, he's already worth $10-15 million, so it ain't money he wants.
+Bill Smith you gotta remember though no matter how rich you are business is business my friend! and danny seems to love making custom bikes/cars! so i think the money is just an added bonus for him :)
I wonder if Danny.... I mean Count Cool Rider still goes to Scare Fair.
Don't know, but it would be funny as hell if he could get Roli to come with and play along as someone from the "old country"!
I am the 33rd caller. Give me my tickets, count !!!!!!!!
This puts the cheese in cheesy. Lmao
If I had the chance to drink a beer with anyone in the world, it would have to be the Count! The man is a class act. Raion, I agree. There's a lot to look up to about this mans demeanor and the way he treats others. I wish I was a fraction as cool as him, I would probably be an asshole though so that's probably why the man above didn't create me as such.
this guy is friggin awsome
So why doesn't he talk to Roli in that accent?
dont know how he can keep laughing all the time ...but its coool
I think shit like this cool. Seeing where someone came from, where they cut their teeth in entertainment. Danny has real charisma and it's cool to see here in something so cheesy.
Counting cars got me here
I just decided my next Vampire villain for my DND players is going to be Count Kool Rider!!!!
This isn't embarrassing. It's hilarious.
