- www.LasVegasHaunts.com started with our first Haunt "Nightmare Castle" at ScareFaire '99. It was cross promoted on the local TV horror show, "Saturday Fright at the Movies" starring Count Cool Rider! The Count is none other that Danny Koker star of the new History Channel's "Counting Cars"! The Count came out for an appearance, was only to be there for 45 mins to an hour but stayed over 2 hours signing autographs!! Danny is still the same fan caring person today!!! Check out the web site. Count Cool Rider has morphed in the Count and Counting Cars...Nightmare Castle has morphed into the ASYLUM, a nationally recognized haunted attraction. This clip was used to surprise the Count on the David Letterman Show!!
It's crazy how this is the same count from counting cars. I believe he was the co owner of this television station that aired this show
I remember this guy when I was a kid. I use to watch him on TV in the 90's ha ha. I wrote to his fan club. This brings back memories.

I love out here in Vegas and I go to concerts at his club, Vamp'd, all the time. Met him many times. He's a good guy.

I loved this program and I was an adult! It of course is nostalgic of The Vegas Vampire and he did it justice! I sure wish you would come back!

Danny is just a cool guy. He seems to be the genuine article. It's nice to see some "real" people having a chance to get their name out there. He has a good heart and is generous while being cool and respected by all kinds of people. That's not an easy thing to do. He has a few different businesses and has been doing these things before there was Counting Cars of Pawn Stars or whatever. He's the real deal. I wish I could afford a vehicle done by him. The only other guy I hold in the same category is Chip Foose from Overhaulin, another big hearted, "real" guy. God bless all these "cool guys" and the wonderful work they do. Great job man !!!!

It seems with some research that I my life has been connected to Danny since I was a kid.
Danny was one or the gospel group the, "Rex Humbard Singers" that I saw perform at a church when I was about 10 or so. I remember seeing this "Saturday Fright at The Movies" via a home made VHS tape as a teen, and now one of my favorite shows in "Counting Cars".
Count Cool Rider. I loved this guys show when I was a kid.

beefcurtainz69 Yep. It came on Las Vegas, NV local WB channel every Saturday night. He would comment in between the segments, before, and after the movie and make corny jokes about the films! Count Cool was awesomeness!!!!!!
Yup Kind of a male Elvira, or like that guy who hosted in Sacramento, I forget his name, Bob something. Seems was a trend back then. lots of horror intro shows on TV.
It was Bob Wilkins who hosted Creature Features back in the 70's.
I love seeing it in Oklahoma in the 70 s we had court Gregor is now 95 and is Loved in OKC,

It used to be super fun for me as a kid. With my popcorn and kool aid , laying on tha floor and Count Cool Rider showing Movies on our TV. We didnt have cable back then.

I was born and raised in Vegas...I foundly remember Count Cool Rider!!!! I just googled and showed my kids a Count Cool Rider Clip because I remember spending soooo many Saturday nights watching him. Loved him!!!!! And then while being nostalgic, suddenly it dawned on me who he is!!!!! I googled to confirm it and then my mind was blown. I love him on Pawn Stars and Counting cars! I recognized him *almost* right away! So awesome!!!!

I can’t believe I didn’t remember this and recognize him when I first saw him on Counting Cars. Did a year in Vegas, loved this show.
I never missed an episode I met him after the show was canceled and he was doing his custom cycles and cars. He liked coming to the club I ran called Foxy Girls. A real nice guy now I try not to miss his custom count show. Love ya Danny. TCB :)

Miss this too. Yes, they were terrible B Movies, but man what fun. Get the popcorn, turn out the lights and watch the movie, and watch the count interact with the Bat Girls while making bad jokes and giving away prizes. He was great as the Count.

I swear this is the coolest guy I've ever seen anywhere. The guys always smiling and barely or ever gets angry. I love watching his show just because of that. A guy that gets very easily angered like me looks up to him.

So cheesy it's awesome! I've been a fan of car customizing shows ever since they were mainly "how to" shows, normally associated with a car or truck magazine or parts catalog. They would show as fillers or late at night on cable channels like ESPN or The Nashville Network. The hosts had no personality and just narrated the nuts and bolts of the project. I fell in love with the flash and attitude of Richard Rollins on Fast & Loud and then discovered Danny and his show. Fast & Loud is a better produced show, but I like The Count's style and cars better. I always wondered where Danny got the nickname from. Now I know.
And oh yeah... When I hit the lottery, Danny will come to know me quite well. LOL!

Thanks for the upload. I live in Vegas and have fond memories of catching this every Saturday night back in the late 90s. I sure miss it, would be awesome if it'd be brought back with Count Cool Rider back hosting. I bet a revival would be successful, too.
